This is a one way road— w a few homes and small resorts scattered on it.
A truck would be recommended but a car could if you had good insurance. 4x4 wasn’t needed unless rainy season.
There are a few scattered sites on the beach side.
Police drove through and never stopped. There are no signs stating no camping and you are off the beach but close enough. Rough tide, coconuts, parrots, lots of night crabs so bring lights, No facilities, cell service/internet -Verizon.
Lots of beach but not great swimming…strong current.

Also easy by 2 WD. Good windpressed sand..

Perfect spot, really nice untill sandfleas succeeded to get into our van around 8pm even if we had all our mosquitoes screen on
So be prepared to be attacked really badly if you leave anything open after dark

Great beach with multiple spots to camp. We stayed a bit to the south of this one, in the shade of some trees. To go all the way to the point the road get very small and if you're too wide (as we were) you'll scratch your ride for sure. Nice swimming, coconuts from the trees and plenty of firewood. Also found some groups of howler, capuchin and squirrel monkeys around. A lot of macaws as well.

Only 4WD
The End, sleep Here! its Nice!
Walewatching, also Delphins!

Great spot! I think we saw around 5 people the whole time we stayed there. Very nice spot to swim with warm and calm water and we saw a great sunset! Found some coconuts on the beach to drink.

Also a nice sandy road leading up to the spot.

Highly recommended!!

Report Check-In

Wow. Definitely a recommended place. Directly at the sea between some palms. Very calm at night; there are only a few lodges around. Follow the signs to the AguaDulce Lodge and go 2 km further on the sandy road. Absolutely doable with a 2wd, only parts where you should not be to slow.

our favorite spot on pour 17days trip. we continued the road north from this point ( definitely need a 4x4), there are at least 3 differents spots tout camp. very quiet beach. we were alone to camp and have seen less than 10 people during the two days we finally decide to stay. delfins very close to the beach. sandflies, bring deet repellent.

Report Check-In

At the weekend there were a few people around but it's still a nice peaceful spot. 4x2 might make it down the track to this spot, but getting off the track into the park-up area is deep soft sand, 4x4 needed. No facilities. Free.

Report Check-In

Down a sandy road so probably 4x4 only. Camping right next to the beach. Very quiet. Perfect for sunrise.

Report Check-In

Came back a couple of times. Great beach for swimming. Basically saw no one for two day. No amenities. 20 mins from town. Turtle nesting area so don't park too close to the high tide mark
