Something not right?

Description

Probably the nicest room we’ve stayed in the entire trip, but you wouldn’t know it from the outside. AC, fast wifi, flatscreen, super clean, great shower (cold)/ bathroom and secure parking that will fit larger rigs (maybe not bus size). 40000 for a room for 2.

There is no sign outside, just a big black gate. Knock loudly or ring the bell. The owner’s name is Alfredo. If heading south, turn right before La Piña restaurant (which has typical set plate meals for 10000).

update 2023: its 60k now, you can ask for 50k

knock on black door or ring bell like others say. 50k COP, clean, quiet, very good ac, secure parking. she moved my clothes and moto under the awning when a 5 minute out of nowhere rain started. made my heart skip a beat but was very much appreciated.

50'000COP for a double room, everything was working. Good for a night because nothing is around😅 Dog was allowed, too.

We paid 50k today for a double room. We could park our van inside in front of our door. cold but noisy AC, good wifi, friendly staff. BUT: Its very loud. Music at the street until 3am and people in front of the room from 6am. Oh and we didnt had water most of the time 😀

Report Check-In

Clean and comfortable, quiet (off the main road), fast WiFi, A/C, good cold shower, $40000COP for a double bed for 2. Nice owner, secure parking. Towel and soap provided. Restaurants and tiendas nearby. The town itself isn’t great, but the hotel is a perfect stopover on a long road.

As previously described, there’s no sign, just ding the bell or knock loudly on the black gate.

Report Check-In

Very noisy from the rooms above. Truckers arrived late and left early. Noise from trucks were super loud backing in to park. The bed is terrible. Half the springs are missing or broken. The AC rattles the entire time it’s on. Definitely not a great place to stay. It was pouring rain so we ended up choosing this based off other reviewers. In our opinion, this place is bare bones ok.

Report Check-In

As described. Owner asked for 40,000 pesos we were happy to pay it. Had undercover parking for the moto. Super secure. Rooms are spotless.

Still 35k, no problem with our dog. Friendly people and great deal for nice new clean room and good WiFi. For sure one of the nicer hotels we’ve wandered into on this trip. No signs for hotel, the gate is across street from small liquor store

Report Check-In

My immediate price was 35000, incredibly cheap for what it is. And they were helpful.
No sign at the gate, it certainly isn‘t old, lots of money has gone into this hotel which nobody in the town seems to know...

Report Check-In

As described, no signs. High walls, tall gate and secured parking for our 6.5x2.2x3.5m rig. Comfortable and clean rooms with AC. We paid 35,000, but they started asking 50,000. The owner, Alfredo, eventually came by to say hello and was very friendly. We recommend.

Probably the nicest room we’ve stayed in the entire trip, but you wouldn’t know it from the outside. AC, fast wifi, flatscreen, super clean, great shower/ bathroom and secure parking that will fit larger rigs (maybe not bus size). We only paid 30000 for the night but they seemed upset about that and we noticed almost all others were paying 40000. I guess we met the right guy in town. A great rest point before heading to Mompox.

*there is no sign outside, just a big black gate. Turn right before La Piña restaurant.
