Great birding! Also really nice to have dinner in town and be able to pull in here late after dark. People are picking trash, so it is cleaner than I expected. Convenient.

Report Check-In

Do not stay here. Not a good spot to overnight. The locals come around here frequently. Even during the day. Even police patrol. Especially on the weekends. For a more quieter area head to the malecón.

Very quiet great sunrise
No bothers a few other rvs. Even spots

Dry camping at the end of a cul de sac overlooking the river and beach. OK for an overnight (all established CGs were full). I stayed in a 25' class C with no problems other than the locals hanging out drinking beer. No problems, just noise. The next morning I filled two garbage bags with cans, bottles and trash. No place to put it. Could be really nice except for the garbage.

Report Check-In

We were told twice by the police to leave. They said, it’s not allowed to stay there.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night and we like being right on the beach. Like the reviews say, it’s on a raised cul de sac, short walk to beach, lots of trash ( we cleaned up over 200 pieces of cigarette butts and plastic) and we stayed only because we couldn’t find any other spots in loreto.. so wouldn’t really recommend unless you just need a place to sleep to stay right in loreto, which is bigger with lots of restaurants and stores to buy trinkets. Had to get my bike fixed so left it at the bike shop but now we are about 20 mins south at the spot called “ my secret spot” and it’s right ON the sea! See my post there.

Pack it in and clean up garbage if you have strength 😄🧹🗑🏖🏝🏝🏕

Stayed here in 2019 with no problems but today around 730 the cops had us and two other cars clear the spot after they cleared punta bella
I believe it’s related to covid but I didn’t ask. This is the third spot today we’ve seen the cops clear out in the evening. Other reviews suggest it’s covid precautions as well so I’m hopeful these spots will be open again eventually. But for now it seems RV parks or hotels are all thats available around loreto.

Free parking

Report Check-In

Much better option than Punta Bella. It’s significantly quieter at night and you can actually get some sleep. Easy to get down to the beach or park on the top of the road.

Report Check-In

Imposible dormir, a partir de la tarde se llena de coches con la música muy fuerte. Sitio donde viene la gente a beber. Nos tuvimos que mover a media noche debido al ruido. El sitio es bueno para ver el atardecer y poco más.

Stayed on the beach towards the sea. Really quiet and could see other cars pulling up at the iOverland spot playing music so think we made the right call. Considering loreto is big and touristy, this place is a gem and everyone is friendly! Morning strollers and dog walks around for sunrise over the mountains across the sea, pretty perfect.

spots where locals come to hang out, play loud mariachi music and drink beers. terrible spot to sleep. I repeat, terrible spot to sleep.
i recommend going to the other side of the river. police comes by every hour and only noisy in the morning when fishers drop there boat in the water.

Good place for two night
l'endroit pourrait être magique si les habitants n'avaient pas l'habitude de faire venir "crotter" leurs chiens. Calme et tranquille.

We slept there 2 nights, and left the car there to walk in town during the day. It is a safe place, a man who lives nearby came to talk to us, told us that it is very safe and even offered us to use his bathroom. The two nights there was locals coming to chill, listen to music, smoke and drink until after midnight. We weren't bothered but if you go to sleep early, especially in the weekend, maybe park nearer the restaurant on this same road. There was many dogs barking every time a bike passed, but they were friendly to us.

Report Check-In

spend 4 nights there on a holiday weekend. Every night there was car coming to play loud mexican music to have beers or to have sex.. We park more around the entry of the road so a little more quiet and still safe. It is an amazing sunrise spot, resorts and beach minutes away. One day was pretty windy with sand blowing at us from the beach, so close your window, but calm at night. There is also another beach down further but not sure about spending the night, i’m sure there would be locals there too ! XD I am reading a lot of other camping spot down los cabos and most of them have locals coming at night with loud music, i guess you have to get use to it and buy earplugs ! ;)

it really is a beautiful spot. next to the beach, promenade, great view, central location, quiet at night. BUT around midnight somebody knocked the door of my van and tried to look inside with flash lights. I didnt open and they left after 2 minutes or so. I checked out the car when they left and I am pretty sure it was a police car. I was half asleep when they knocked but think they even said buenos noches and asked if we were americanos, but my Spanish isnt the best yet.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place. A locals go there to enjoy the view and have some beers, have a chat with them and get to know the locals. People are really nice here!! Close to the beach and downtown

Report Check-In

Decent spot. Great views of the sea and the fishermen at work. rocky so hard to get tent pegs in. Some locals pass through as you are right near town. Seems safe as there are houses a stone's throw away.
Beautiful sandy beach 50m away. 200ms down the road is Buena Vida Restaurant. the owner is very nice and came out to speak to me. He used to work on boats so is well travelled. I got on the wifi there and they let me charge my phone. The fish Tostadas were excellent. They open at 11am so did breakfast there as well. Good bathrooms too.

Have parked up just as you turn onto the dirt road at the end of Nicholas Bravo street. (Location shown in screenshot photo added.) We have parked here knowing that the trees will help to protect is from the rising sun in the AM. So far the spots seems safe and quiet enough.

So actually we did stay here we drove down to the beach it looks out on and suuuper loud fishing spot. This little spot is the bees knees. Quiet, safe and beautiful

Free and quiet spot in loreto! Looks out on the ocean and mountains! Super beautiful good for a couple of rigs. We didn’t sleep here just napped during the day...went to sleep here and spores another pretty spot across the way that I will also post on here. Enjoy, safe travels! Side note if your gps tells you to turn onto Calle Independencia don’t do that it’s a dead end go one street further and then turn.

Nice spot at the end of the Levi alongside the arroyo. Quiet - police patrol all night. Nice walk to the malecon and Augies for a drink. Went north through town and along the bay and camped one night there. Jesus fished us out about 40 clams for 50 pesos which we cooked for dinner - wonderful experience. We dug some out too but it's illegal. There's all kinds of spots there - fenced off areas and no one quite sure who owns what.
