We spent three days at La Rayhuela . All positive comments are verified. very friendly owners and excellent infrastructure. Close to the beach and a very quiet place. We recommend it. Do not consider the only negative comment posted by a french group of travellers who try to hide a part of their party to pay less. Unacceptable behaviour in our community of free travellers.

Nothing new to add here. Very good place for a night or two. Has everything you need. Very friendly people.
20.000 COP per person. Dogs allowed. They have two friendly dogs.

The structure is excellent, kitchen, swimming pool, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, laundry, fair price, daily cleaning, great wi-fi. We feel safe and it is a good support point.
The parking space is covered and is very good, if you are lucky enough to be the only car there it is perfect. I recommend leaving the vehicle always ready to move, to make it easier when other large motorhomes arrive, as we were in the middle of important work when this happened and the travelers who arrived were in a hurry and couldn't wait to park. If you plan to stay longer, also confirm if you have any events scheduled. Cesar and his wife were very attentive when we arrived, they are also travelers.

A estrutura é excelente, cozinha, piscina, banho turco, jacuzzi, lavanderia, preço justo, limpeza diária, ótimo wi-fi. Nos sentimos seguros e é um bom ponto de apoio.
O espaço pra estacionar é coberto e é muito bom, se tiver sorte de ser o único carro ali é perfeito. Recomendo deixar o veículo sempre pronto para mover, para facilitar quando chegarem outros motorhomes grandes, pois nós estávamos no meio de um trabalho importante quando aconteceu isso e os viajantes que chegaram estavam com muita pressa e não puderam esperar pra estacionar. Se tiver planos de ficar mais dias confirme também se tem algum evento agendado. Cesar e sua esposa foram muito atenciosos quando chegamos, também são viajantes.

Cordial saludo a la comunidad camper Somos los dueños del Hostal La Rayuela Hostal y Cabaña Estamos extrañados de un comentario negativo que realizaron unos huéspedes sobre su estadia en nuestras instalaciones cuando los recibimos con respeto y brindandole la mejor atención. Queremos aclarar que su inconformidad fue porque se registraron dos personas y de una manera engañosa eran cuatro adultos y un niño, de los cuales vimos siempre que disfrutaron de su estadía, de la piscina y de las instalaciones.

Salutations cordiales à la communauté des campeurs Nous sommes les propriétaires de l'Hostal La Rayuela Hostal y Cabaña Nous sommes surpris par le commentaire négatif que certains clients ont fait sur leur séjour dans nos installations alors que nous les avons reçus avec respect et leur avons accordé la meilleure attention. Nous tenons à préciser que votre désaccord était dû au fait que deux personnes se sont inscrites et, de manière trompeuse, il s'agissait de quatre adultes et d'un enfant, dont nous avons toujours vu qu'ils appréciaient leur séjour, la piscine et les installations.

Nous y avons fait étape une après midi et une nuit à la recherche d'un lieu où se protéger de la chaleur humide de la région... Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'endroit, au frais, à l'ombre, au bord de la petite piscine. C'est propre, bien aménagé et les propriétaires sont vraiment adorables.. il est préférable de les contacter avant d'arriver parce qu'il y a la place pour 1 camping car (3,50m hauteur max) et un van au maximum.

Propriétaires malhonnête qui double les prix à 20h du soir, afin que vous ne partiez pas. Camping-car coincé dans un hangar en taule. piscine et jacuzzi très sale, mousse, algue eau verte. J'étais surprise au vu des précédents avis. Mais finalement en lisant d'avantages, ils ce mettent eux-mêmes leurs propres avis.😅 Attention de ne pas vous faire avoir comme-nous.

Quartier insécure, voir même dangereux. Chambre très sale, jacuzzi inutilisable tellement il est sale.. Cafards et moustiques partout... Les propriétaires sont malhonnête et irrespectueux les prix changent tout au long de la soirée. Surtout à la tombée de la nuit lorsque vous ne pouvez plus partie cela double.Même pour une étape je ne vous conseille pas, l'insécurité est omniprésente. Et l'accueil est malsain.

One spot for bigger rigs up to a height of 4.5m at the pool/common area and maybe two smaller spots in the yard. It is not big, but nice and clean. Very friendly hosts and the cooling down in the pool was awesome. Bathroom and showers are clean and there is a washing machine to use. Nice area to chill and an outdoor kitchen is available. We stayed there for two nights and had a good time.

Very nice host. We spent the night in our van for 20mil pesos. It was inside, funny but comfortable. We were almost alone, with a big space for us, fast wifi, shower and restroom.

At 15 min from Santa-Marta city center. The rooms are basic but very clean with AC. Bbq and kitchen are available. Nice swimming pool. The owners are very kind and helpful if you need something. 2-3 places for cars. Contact the owner before if you need parking. They invited us to eat asado with the all family. Great time! We recommend!

super séjour à la Rayuela! l endroit est super jolie, avec beaucoup d arbres et de l ombre. La piscine et la salle commune sont très agréable également. Les installations comme la cuisine et les douches sont fonctionnelles et le personnel très sympathique. prix: 15000 pesos/ pers pour dormir dans son camping car et gratuit pour les enfants. Et seulement 40000 pesos pour une chambre 3 personnes avec AC!

Space for two vehicles, (ours 3.20 m high) without problems, also has space for 4 vehicles on adjoining lot with dump station (COP $ 15,000pp). With imcovered pool (which keeps the water cool), two places to cook with their refrigerators. Six bedrooms with A C (COP $ 45,000). Good WiFi. Helpfull employes. Minutes from the beach and Santa Marta. We were 15 days due to mechanical problems that required to import the spare parts. Cesar, the owner, very kind, helped us with the importation, transportation, etc. We repair the vehicle on adjoining lot without problems. I recommend the hostel!!

Space for one, maybe two vans most, (see photos) with a clearance of around 3.3 m. The space is great though! Very secure, access to two full kitchens, toilet, showers, nice cold swimming pool, and great hang out space. 15,000 pesos pp. the staff is great as well and even set up a big fan for us to help cool down the van on a stuffy day! Balcony as well, walking distance to beach (we didn’t go), and good WiFi. Also pet friendly- they have two dogs but they didn’t have free reign of the hostel though our dog was allowed anywhere.

Still constructions, but very considerate not to disturb us (too much). Very nice owner (Caesar) offered us complimentary juice in the evening and coffee in the morning. Spacious pool. Room for 1-2 camper vans. Use the black not blue gate to enter. Nice garden & impressive TERRACE WITH OCEAN (SUNSET) VIEW. Clean (warm) shower & toilet. COP 10k for laundry.

Great place to stay in the area. From the outside you don't see how nice the place is inside!

Pretty hostal with a couple of rooms, outdoor kitchen, pool and hammock area, lots of shade and ventilators.

You can park inside the hostel next to the pool in the shade, so very secure. Space for about 3 rigs, maybe even more, max height about 3.5m.

The owner Cesar is very welcoming and invited us both nights to the fiesta they had, he even invited us for lunch, dinner and drinks!

We've had a lovely time there and enjoyed it a lot to get in touch with cesar, his family and friends.

La Rayuela is a place to stay 1-2 days, but not recommended for a longer stay.

- friendly people, will offer you „tinto“ (coffee) every morning

- kitchen (but neither good stuff to cook and there was nothing to wash dishes! - we used only our things)
- they‘re constructing, so lots of dust and noise
- toilets, shower and kitchen quite filthy
-Employees do not really care about guests. They begin making noise from 06:30am.

Un lugar hermoso, muy confortable y te da a libertad de cocinar y acampar. Lugar con sombras, hamacas, baños limpios y un servicio buenisimo. Super recomiendo para todos y para la cominidad cicloviajera.

Hostal La Rayuela un lugar muy tranquilo lejos de la bulla de la ciudad. César y Martha excelentes anfitriones.
Ofrecen servicios de camping, viajeros en casas rodantes, moteros, etc. Cuentan con cocina compartida, tambien ofrecen habitaciones privadas y cuarto compartidos.

The place was really nice and clean. Cesar was really kind and helpful. He made us visit nice places in the city and around. This is a place i would highly recommend if you're staying around Santa Marta, for rooms, for tents, or even with a van.

It is a clean, quiet Place. Hector who looks after the place does his very best to make you feel comfortable . He helped me clean the car, brought a fan, did the washing, always happy to serve, as he says . This warm hospitality is special and most welcome

Somos brasileiros, Gilvana e Antonio. Ficamos no Hostal com um motor home durante 8 dias.Super recomendo.
Lugar aconchegante, é muito arborizado.Muita paz, e muitas vibrações boas.César e Martha são nota 10!!!Agora temos grandes amigos.

It's a really nice place to stay near of the beach and the airport. It's safe and quiet. You can leave your van in the hostel and it's easy to take a public transportation to know other places like Palomino, Taganga and Tyrone. César, the owner, is so helpful and can help you in all your needs. The best option to know the city and surroundings and leave your car in a secure place!! Is better if you contact him before you arrive.
