Still accepting cyclists in 2023. No problems with the predatory behaviour outlined below, thank goodness. No charge so long as we ate dinner. We weren’t offered the use of the shower sadly, and the bit of land is a little unloved, but along this populated section of the panam it was a very welcome stop. Road is noisy but no other sounds. Some men around early morning (workers at the gas station maybe?) but everyone seemed to be unconcerned about our presence, think there are campers here fairly often.
Report Check-InWe had a great experience here. LA hondros was incredibly nice and welcoming, and let us camp for free as long as we had dinner at the restaurant. He also opened up a shower for us so we could clean up as we had been riding bikes all day. Great spot would definitely stay again.
Report Check-InI set up my tent with the “help” of a very friendly guy who works at the restaurant. He insisted that there was enough space in my tent for him to join me for the night (I’m a solo male traveler). When he wouldn’t stop badgering me and became much more forward with his requests to touch me, I left my tent and walked to the hotel that was 1 minute away. The 150Q for a room and a really nice pool was worth it.
Report Check-InExcelente lugar con atención excepcional de los propietarios sin duda el mejor lugar para comer y pasar la noche, parada obligada para disfrutar de calidad en alimentos y entablar una charla amena.
Report Check-InNice restaurant to have dinner and sleep before/after the border with El Salvador.
We had a decent dinner, 30Q for a cheeseburger with fries.
Friendly owners let us park in the side garden, quite away from sight, safe and quiet.
Wifi is pretty fast, and bathroom super clean.
Gas station next to the restaurant as well.
