Description
Beautiful place to rest a few days. Fast wifi, pool, restaurant and amazing views. We paid 150Q for a private room. There are dormitories too. the restaurant is not expensive and the staff is very friendly. Possibility to book a trip to Semuc Champey.

They let us stay in our car in their parking lot, which is at the bottom of the hotel, on the road to 2 other hotels, not that much space. You can’t cook. Q40 per person, you can use amenities. Nice pool, and view, hot water for showers. Bad service. You can walk up to the zephyr lodge or take a tuk tuk for Q3 per person, we had lunch over there.

privates were good, fan, mosquito nets, and outlets in the rooms.
dorms were incredibly basic, no outlets, there were mosquito nets. Roaches, spiders, or any other jungle critter found its way in. Thankfully the private room was a little more secure against invading bugs.
The family that runs the place is very nice. Nice pool with an amazing view. Didn't try the food, but the portions looked big and the prices seemed kinda reasonable. The town is a 10 minute walk of you want something else, and it's safe to walk at night

Doesn't sound expensive, but the service is not good. Rooms are as basic as can be. Very dark, electricity (not in dorms) only in the evening. WIFI will be switched off in the night and is only reliable in the common area. Tours and shuttles cost 50% more than if you book directly in town. They charge extra for water. They said it would be included if we ate something for dinner which we did. But then they reclined their offer. You hear everything from your neighbours who are usually loud party people. No blankets in dorms, mosquito nets with holes, in double room we were provided one! towel. We didn't like our stay and felt treated badly. Nice pool, though.
