Nice sheltered spot to camp in a grove of tall trees. Very private, can’t be seen from road. Protected from wind. Close to park entrance. Best option around. After you turn left from rp11 to rp60 (driving away from park entrance) look for a grove of green trees on the Wright. You’ll soon find a small dirt road. Follow this to the trees and you can park inside a small clearing. Big rigs could park next to the trees.

Lovely place not far from the road but still very calm. We saw several rabbits and a big owl.
Report Check-InPerfect place to get some rest before going to the glacier. Easy access for 2wd. some animals on the morning, it was nice.
Report Check-InSmall wild corner sheltered from the wind in a grove, overlooking one of the arms of Lake Argentino. Accessible by a small track for all vehicles. There is room for several vehicles and tents can be set up under the trees. Close to the entrance to the park where it is forbidden to spend the night. Also close to boarding ports.
Report Check-InPerfect spot for the night. Protected from the wind, super nice view over the valley.
Report Check-Invery nice place for tents and vehicles. Grassy bit was wet and muddy but still a lot of space left atound.
Report Check-InStayed for two nights is a tent. The trees offen enough wind protection. Met two families in campervans and had lovely dinners together.
Landowner drove by but did not care about us camping.
lovely sunsets, keep the place clean!!
Nice place to spend the night before going to the glacier. A bit wind protection by the trees. And hidden from the road. Cell phone signal, but no internet.
Report Check-InNo sign prohibiting camping anymore, just one about fire. We spent 2 nights there. Amazing location and view!
Report Check-InNice place with a nice view. We were three cars that night. Perfect to arrive early at Perito Moreno
Report Check-InGreat spot for overnight before heading to the park. At the turn from gravel road there are signs no camping and no fire. We stayed there without any problems with 4 other cars. Nice cover from wind but in some places can get very muddy after rain. Amazing view for sunset. In general great spot. Just please if you stay there take your rubbish with you! Leave it clean for next Overlanders :)
Report Check-InDefinitely a no camping sign, even though broken, at the entrance to this location. We arrived very late and took our chances. Park ranger showed up much later and said no camping allowed but since it was so late he wouldn’t ask us to move. This place is closed.
Report Check-Inamazing place! beautiful, secluded and you‘ll meet other overlanders for sure as it seems to be very popular. perfect for getting into the national park early next day
Report Check-InAwesome spot away from the main roads. Perfect after spending time at Perito Moreno or Puerto Bandera. covered by beautiful trees (look up before placing your rig as some branches look a bit tired + some have obviously broken off). Quiet and the view is insanely beautiful!!! A must in the area! We would come back in a heartbeat.
Report Check-InNice and sheltered from the wind. Some flat spots. Had a really quiet night with an awesome view! Perfect place to stay before visiting the perito moreno glacier. Make sure you are there before 9am. (Tourist busses)
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night here without disturbance, sheltered from the wind and secluded by the trees with a nice walk down to the lake!
Report Check-InAt the start of the little dirt road there is a sign saying that it's not allowed to camp here. The sign looks older then the reviews here. Maybe it only counts for tents. We took the bet and stayed one night with our RV. Very nice and quiet!
Report Check-Inone overlander on our night.
protected from the wind.
3 or 4 vehicles max
Good location to stay overnight. Close for early entrance to Perito Moreno glacier.
Report Check-InWunderschöner Platz. Wir blieben 2 Nächte.
Leider viel WC-Papier...
Beautiful place. A lot of toiletpaper around... :-( an idea: burn it after use... the rest will be gone fast :-)
We collected a whole bag full of waste to clean the place. You drive through calafate anyway... so leave your waste there. Thanks
Magique ! Vue extraordinaire et à l'abri du vent. le coucher de soleil est splendide. un de nos meilleurs spots.
Report Check-InWhat an amazing spot! Absolutely love it. When I was there there was no wind at all, super quiet! Nicely hidden from everything, no trash. No Wi-Fi lol
