Another beautiful spot. Thanks for Public Lands in America! May it always be so. A train in the distance. Coyotes yipping. No trash!!! Great Tmobile.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
cute little spot for the night, quiet and nice view. road is narrow, but the camping space is spacious and easy to turn
Report Check-InGreat spot for a quick one night stopover off I-10; there are only a few sites which are readily accessible without 4WD/high clearance but they are clean, quiet, and safe. This is on USFS land but immediately adjacent to private property so please be careful and respectful! :)
Report Check-InFine pull off for the night. Nice view, not sure I am in the advertised spot, but it’ll do!
Report Check-InQuiet New Years night. Stunning sunset. Can hear a bit of the freeway from afar, but not bothersome at all. Made up in my hatch back.
Report Check-InNice for a night. It was very windy when I was here and the road in is very dusty. Verizon cell ok. Site was still clean.
Report Check-InNice view of the mountains. I confirm I heard a coyote far away but none vans close to us or our dogs. In the morning has a family of cows walk right up to the van but they didn’t bother us. Pretty quiet all night. Near high tension lines, and fire ring setup here from previous person. Road in was ok without 4x4. Not an obvious pull off at dark on the left coming from civilization.
Report Check-InGreat spot for an overnight. It’s just a pull off at the side of a quiet gravel road. Only 2 or 3 cars passed in the 15 hours there. Pretty sunrise and sunset and nice mountain views, but also under the power lines. Strong Verizon. **Please pack out whatever you pack in, including dog and human poop!**
Report Check-InNice place for a overnight stay. I talked to the rancher that owns the ranch next to this spot. He expressed many concerns about fellow travelers not respectful of his property, leaving trash, shit in buckets, trespassing on his ranch and causing trouble for him and other owners. We must remember,Leave No Trace or we will lose this resource.
Report Check-InCouldn’t find a place to set up a tent, it slept just fine in my SUV. We got hit with a big storm and the road was still travel-able.
Report Check-InThe main road has washed out a bit shortly after hitting BLM land and I had to turn around in my fragile and low AWD car before getting in over my head. high clearance recommended if you’re getting in after dark and want to go deep into the backcountry. lots of beautiful wide open country near to the power lines, close to highway and accessible to any vehicle. some low light/noise pollution from nearby road, highway, and train tracks since as other posters said you’re slowly climbing uphill which makes it harder to break line of sight
Report Check-InReally pretty, quiet place, amazing sunrise. We arrived at 10 pm it was a little difficult to find when we got to the dirt road but the pull in opened up. Built a fire the next morning! Great spot.
Report Check-InRocky unimproved road. Lots of cows- but also lots of grass. The whole area rises from I-10 at a steady rate, so flat spots are limited. Lots of leveling required. Wouldn’t pull a trailer in here. Nice stop close to I-10.
Report Check-InGreat spot, I stayed a bit further down. Very quiet, I could see the train, but couldn't hear it. It's US Forestry Land. No signs saying you can't camp here, which means you can for 14 days. Very clean! Please keep it that way.
Report Check-InGreat spot for a night! There was a vanlifer when I got there, was quiet with just us two. Beautiful sunset views!
Report Check-InGood easy access from the highway. Train noise in the night but overall a decent place to stop if heading west or East on the highway. To get away from the houses you might want to head up the road into the hills. 4x4 would help.
Report Check-InThis location is on Coronado National forest land and the gives you 14 days here. it is very exposed and if there is wind, you will know! It has very expansive views looking North and west. Firewood is going to be mesquite and cat's claw which is miserable to work with but there will be no shortage anytime soon🙂
Report Check-InIf you enjoy beautiful sunsets & rolling landscapes, you will live this quiet location outside of Dragoon, AZ. There are plenty of wide open spaces for big rigs!
Report Check-Insolid verizon service. open. free. WINDY!
but worked out well for a night
Nice and green but no trees. I had a nice breeze all night. The road was fine for my van but not if raining because it looks like a wash out but it is serviced.
Report Check-Injust got here. needing a place to social distant. nobody within quarter mile. a little windy but beautiful and quiet. BLM land we believe.
Report Check-InNice big spot that was occupied bWe went a little further up and just parked off the road. Awesome sunsets. Very good phone reception
Report Check-InAnother beautiful spot. Thanks for Public Lands in America! May it always be so. A train in the distance. Coyotes yipping. No trash!!!
