Big flat gravel pit beside the road. Zero traffic at night. Good spot for sleeping between higher passes, coming from or going to Argentina. We fully enjoyed taking this road to go from Argentina to Chile. It”s very scenic and one of the best routes we took. We think only a hanful of travellers take this route, but it deserves more people to admire the beauty on the road. Be aware that the pass at the border is not the highest point. On both sides you cross passes that are higher, on the Arg side almost 4500 masl.
