Very nice spot just off the road, sheltered by some trees and right next to Rio Barrancoso. There is plenty of space for several tents, but probably not possible to reach for big rigs. The spot has access to the river and some firepits are spread around the area.
Location is right next to the junction of Ruta 7 and X-907. Coming from north it’s 45km from Cochrane just before the bridge and behind the bus shelter on the left side. Some spots are visible from the street, but plenty of others are well hidden in the trees.

Great little spot. Close to the road but little traffic. Spot for 1 tent right by the river (see picture) away from the road, many more spots closer to the road. 4x4 access but drivable area not very flat
Report Check-Inbeautiful flat place to camp next to Route 7 (carretera austral) trees that cover you from the humidity and flat and clean terrain to pitch tents, ideal for ci lists. we find spring water running along the Route.
Report Check-InNice place with a few area to set up the tents. Fire pit. Nice access to the river. Please keep the place clean 👍
Report Check-InThe sound of river is good to pretend there is not Caretera so close :) Not really level, but you can help your self with aome rocks. Very good wind protection. Entel mobile signal. Accessible for all type of vehicles (not 100% suitable for big rigs) good place with fire pits, but you can be seen from road.
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night. Very nice place
It was Sunday evening so only two cars drove by
There is another place for a tent some meters further down at the river. Beware of dead branches at the trees above your tent.
Report Check-InNice spot, lots of room for tents and easy access to the river. Remember to take your poopy paper with you or burry it well 🧻💩
