Latest Check-Ins

Beach parking lot, your only allowed to park at night. During the day you will be kicked out. No pets allowed on the beach there are bathrooms and showers for day use only. Internet 24/7. Cancun is not camper friendly

Report Check-In

Wanted to stay here but local police said it’s not really safe by night, so we moved on.

Report Check-In

why we don't stood there, because we wouldn't even think of spending the night in the middle of a freeway

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night, we pulled up after dark and parked off to the side of the lot. Didn't ask the parking attendant, we just went real incognito (our rig doesn't look like a camper so we just kept quiet with lights off) and had no problems at all.

Report Check-In

We spend a night here. At the evening a police guy came and said it is no problem to park and stay overnight. In the morning a more agressive other policeman knocke d at our truck and said we have to leave imediately without reason. Would definitely not go there again.

Report Check-In

definitely worth the stop! the only free beach at Zona Hotelera of CanCun... the ocean is Cristal clear... and it's the only spto where the water is like a pool... other places are beautiful too, but nothing like this place ... just make a stop! worth it!

Report Check-In

Probably the best spot in cancun if you want to be by the beach. The beach has many palapas for free. Seaweed (as of August 6th) is not bad at all.

Before you stay the night ask the parking guys if it’s okay, they will tell you it’s okay but they might ask you to move to somewhere else during the day as they make their money from the spot you occupy.

Passamos o dia nessa praia, estacionamos aqui, seguro e tranquilo, não é grátis precida deixar uma própina. O mar estava um pouco agitado, a cor da água e da areia são espetaculares. Recomendamos conhecer.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

I stayed two nights. during the day, we parked at the beach aide of the street. at night, we moved to the gravel pit on the other side.
police officers are at the beach all day long, also at night.
felt really safe. I asked the police if overnighting is ok and they told me I can camp on the other side on the gravel pit.

traffic noise decreases at night. if you are sensible maybe still not ideal. I didnt care about the noise at all.

the "red flag parking guys" just ask for a voluntary tip for showing you a parking lot. you dont need to give them anything. we gave them a few pesos.

showers are outdoor, cold and only work properly in the morning. free.

very busy spot during the day.

beach is really nice and there are free parasols available.

toilets are for voluntary tip.

Report Check-In

The parking red flag guys want you to park over at the gravel parking as they make thier money from cars here... sleeping at the beach edge is better

Report Check-In

Nice beach access, BUT one of the noisiest, most sleepless nights we've had in a long time. Trucks, buses.... baaaaad!

Report Check-In

very nice beach and we sleep over the road at the gravel parking lot...more quiet. Close of the airport.

Report Check-In

very nice spot and great beach. as mentioned before, Park on the other Side of the street during the day, and move to the more quiet Lot during the night. in between 10am and 5pm it might be difficult to get a spot at all, or with some waiting time. at least thats our experience in december.
Also be aware that break ins happen here. I witnessed somebody smashing the window of the car parked next to us and stealing a backpack from the rear seat at 5pm. At 5 pm, the park guards stop working. The Police told me, that break ins do occur here. Dont leave any valuables visible in the car...

Report Check-In

Great place to stay at the beach, overnight parking allowed but during the day we had to move to the other side and park on the gravel lot. We stayed with a friend and unfortunately the two cars next to him have been broken up around 6pm while we were in our vehicles. So be careful even there is a parking guard! Facilities are only open between 9am and 5pm.

Report Check-In

Still possible to overnight here. Public bathrooms open from 9AM to 6PM, free but if you need toilet paper the lady asks for a tip. At 9AM when people start to show up the "cuidador" asks overlanders parked on the beach side to move to the parking across the street, but you can move back for the night (quieter, cleaner and beach views). The whole area felt safe but the day we left a car or two got broken into in the parking lot across from the beach.

Report Check-In

Good free option to enjoy Cancun beach. You can take bus to other public beach and leave camper here. Felt very safe. Police is there during whole day. At night stay in beach side I the more hidden part of parking lot. Less noisy than across the street and you even have ocean view!

Report Check-In

Not a bad place to spend the night. It was really windy while we were there.

We initially parked in the main lot, but were told by the parking guys that RV's are supposed to park in the lot across the street. Something about blocking the view for the police..

Not really sure if it was BS or not, but on the other side they even let us camp up on the grass over the curb, where it was level. It probably turned out to be a better spot anyway.

We did wake up to see another overland rig parked in the lot we were told to move from, but they must have rolled in after the parking guys went home.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, safe and without any trouble. bathrooms til 7pm and guard all night long. quiet enough if you go at the far right of the parking lot, the road is hidden by a small hill. beautiful beach.

Report Check-In

Bivouac gratuit bruyant le jour calme la nuit près d'une plage superbe juste la route à traverser.

Report Check-In

Best organized beach in all Quintana Roo. Clean, deep enough to swim, waves for surfing and Baywatch all in one. Has everything you need to spend the day plus you can stay overnight. All FREE! We stayed twice there. The only place to visit if you are in super touristic and super expensive Cancun! The guys who work around will ask for tips. Some are not very polite as there is a big sign that indicates FREE PARKING. Its up to you!

Report Check-In

Nice place, bealtiful beach. Bath and showers. Touristic police 24 hours. Safe.

Report Check-In

public parking lot. quite busy, but okay for one night. outdoor-showers (no soap allowed!) and toilets available during the day until 7 pm.

Report Check-In

Felt totally safe and nobody bothered us, bathrooms cleaned by attendant and outside beach showers, shampoo/soap not permitted. Nice sea breeze helped keep the van cool. Free but so loud all night from roaring truck and bus noise made for a very bad nights sleep.

Report Check-In

free spot to park by Playa Delfin. we had parked at the main parking lot but we were asked to leave and to park at the other side of the street if it weren't between 6pm and 9am. it's a little bit noise but there is an outdoor cold shower and bathrooms for free until 7pm.

Report Check-In

Parking gratuit, WC et douche ouvert la journee, vue splendide sur la mer, tranquille la nuit, police touristique a 100m.

Great place! We stay here (other side of the road) for a week! Very nice beach with washroom and outside cold showers. Also u can get free wifi with infinitum movil (u have to reload every ten min). The beach is beatiful! With free palapas with shade and playground for kids

Report Check-In

We stayed on the parking on the opposite side of the road. A bit loud due to the traffic but a cool breeze of wind. Parking and sanitaries for free. We felt safe.
