Really close to it there is a sign for cafeteria where a man who cannot hear so well sells really delicious empanadas (seafood, meat, cheese) and you have a great view in his restaurant (just ring the bell and speak with him by showing with your hands)

This monument marks the geografic center of Chile. From here to Peru it‘s the same distance as to the South Pole.
