Description

This is the location for parking for the power plant access to the best (and FREE!) version of Cascadas Micos. There is a small patch of dirt to park across from the power plant which may not be available when you go by, so this may be your better bet.
Once you make it down the road, go past the gates and down the staircases to get to the first set of falls.
If you are going to stay put, you can bring some things with you, though there are not that many places to sit down.
If you want to jump down the falls, then we suggest you don't bring anything as there is no pathway next to the water, so the only way down is swimming (keep in mind you'll have to get back to your car later!)

Updated GPS coordinates to the lot with Adventureland beside it. We parked at north end since it’s farthest from them. Not super nice walk on the road 5 min south to the hydro gates that are open to public. As the other guy said, there is a small patch across the road to park as well (adding picture) if available at the time you go. Stairs down. Ladder down. Uploaded picture of entrance. The two waterfalls at the hydro station were dry in January sadly. But that seems to be where everyone starts their waterfall jumping!

The gravel parking lot is just south of this pinpoint, right next to a tour company called Adventureland. Half the gravel parking lot is reserved for them, we parking on the other half and we're fine. Once your parked follow the road south a couple hundred meters until you see a chainlink gate. When we were there there was a giant cardboard sign that said "Entrada a Cascads Micos." Walk in and follow the steps down, you'll be able to access two massive waterfalls. The one up stream is a little tricky to get to, but you'll figure it out ;)

We were not able to find this dirt parking. I do think we found the power plant which had its gate closed. We moved on.

There is a small patch of dirt to park, as well as some paved parking after the gates (though this one seems to be for employees only, we didn't ask).
Go past the large gates (usually open for tours) and down the staircases to get to the first set of falls.
If you are going to stay put, you can bring some things with you, though there is not that many places to sit down.
If you want to jump down the falls, then we suggest you don't bring anything as there is no pathway next to the water, so the only way down is swimming (keep in mind you'll have to get back to your car later!)
