Something not right?

Description

Camping right next to the waterfalls. You have to register at Trawen Camping and cross the river to get here. There is one toilet only which seems not enough for all the tents but we never had to wait and it was always clean. 7000 pp during high season (maybe more now in 2021), while La Junta is 8000 and Trawen 10000 at the main camping . La Paloma hike starts right here. Nice and cheaper alternative to the main Trawen camp, but still way more than the others for even less amenities. Its supposed to be free in low season. We didn't have a reservation, just walked in. Shaded places only. Dogs allowed.

Latest Check-Ins

Suspension bridge has been replaced. No charge to charge devices, but currently only 2 plugs available.

It's 9000 pp now, 7000 pp across the river, far away from the amenties. the owner is a bit greedy in deed. the other ones are only 6000 and have basically the same amenities. He advertised that they have solar panels as well, but didn't mention that you have to pay 2000 extra to charge one device. Anyways if all the others are booked out you might have to go with that one. The volunteers were very nice, they have set up a little shop with fresh bread, vegetables, fruits and some other basic stuff. you can also charge your phone and buy the stuff if you are not staying there. We asked the campground next to it, la junta to stay the seconf night and they allowed it even if they were "booked out". Still plenty of space anyways.

Into the Forest, you pay 5000p/p for like wild camping, they close the doors at 6:00pm and you have to cross river ( without shoes ) ok if you haven’t reservation, better chose “vista hermosa” or “junta”. “Tarwen” expensive also for what is it !

Report Check-In

out of high season (march) it's free! you can use water from the rivers around it, and it's located in the forest therefore you want see the valley around you, but are more protected.
