Description
Franklin and his parents just started to receive also overlanders. You park in the backyard, which is very quiet and safe. It costs around 50 Bol/night for the whole. Very nice family atmosphere. The space in the parking is for 2 vehicle, it can include big rigs, but clearance is around 3 meters high (width is about 2,50 m). In case ypu don't get in, you can always park right outside the gate, it is safe too and you can still open the small door to go back and forth. Kitchen is big and well-furnished, there is also a huge living-room with sofas and dining tables. Shower is super hot and excellent pressure. The whole hotel is very clean ! Good wifi too, that you can enjoy from the sofa. Downstairs they also have a grocery where you can buy canned or dry food, mineral water, fresh bread.

We asked to stay overnight on the parking, they said no. They said the parking was full.
We asked to use a shower, they said no. They said they don’t have independent shower and that all the rooms were occupied.
We asked to use the wifi, they said no. So we left 😅
We went to the camping « La casa del Baron » instead, and we totally recommend this place!!
Report Check-InWe booked the 4days/3nights-trip to salar de uyuni and the saltflats were just on of the highlights! The nights before and after the tour, we could sleep in the car and use the facilities. It‘s a nice place with everything you need and Franklin and his parents are great!
Report Check-InThe hight of the concrete gate frame is 3.03m, the width is 3.30m. So, with our 7m motorhome, we just made it inside. Depending on availability, you either use the shower in Franklin's or in one of the guest rooms. 60Bs per night/car.
Report Check-Inthis place is a bit weird. parking is a small gravel area in the back. shower is on the 3rd floor in what seems to be someone's bedroom. shower drains badly but is good heat with good pressure. toilet is in the hall in the ground floor. kitchen area and couches on the 2nd floor. wifi is quite good even in the back
he charged us 90 for 2 adults and 2 kids which I think is a bit much.
they could make this place decent but it's just kind of an awkward setup and us a decent 10 min walk to town.
at night they squeezed in two trucks right next to us. the family seems to live in and use the kitchen area in the back parking lot which feels a bit awkward too.
we did a horse trip with them and he watched our dog and didn't charge for parking for the night we were away.
Franklin us super nice but he needs to figure out his plan for this place.
Report Check-InWe slept in this place for 60bob with our truck camper. We could entered the gate but we just fitted in. So rig that height more than 3.2 meters could not enter to this place.
Francklin is an extremely nice guy. We did a tour with him to discover the surrounding. He offers tours with biking, horse riding, hiking and Jeep for a fair price. The canyons around Tupiza are really nice !
WiFi and breakfast were really good. hot shower in his room but really ok !

Nice place to camp. Slept in van in small lot in back. Shower was weird...they opened a room upstairs that looked like someone lived in. The shower flooded the room a bit but they didn't seem to mind... sounds like it's designed that way? Cost 60 Bob for two. Breakfast was 15 bob extra each but pretty good...cereal, bread, donuts, pancakes, etc.

Franklin aske for 80 BOL for parking in the rear and sleeping in my trailer excluding breakfast (which I don’t need anyway) The bathroom for campers is kind of messed up , shower was offered in a room - so I paid 100 total and used the bathroom in that room privately
The backyard is kin of small, I could fit my truck and trailer (not sure how to get out tomorrow) another van would probably fit because there is also one car parking here
excellent stay! agree with all written above. Franklin was super nice, helpfull and generous. we did a 5 hour horse riding trip to the canyons and Franklin patiently explained all the details. We paid 60bs to stay at the parking including a great breakfast. highly recommended!
