Something not right?

Description

A little camping directly on the beach „playa Chigualoco“ . Toilets, hot showers, water - on the „sitios“ you have firepits, tables and benches. A sitio costs 25‘000CLP a day (for 4 persons).
You can walk 2 minutes to the little „pueblo Caleta Chigualoco“ - there are some little „restaurants“ with very good and cheap food. Enjoy it :)

Report Check-In

Nice little camping right on the beach
Next to the routa 5
Good for a stopover
High season the owner was asking 12000 per person.
Finally we paid 30.000 for a family of 4 with 2 adults kids
It’s fine.
Depends on the wind and shore you hear either the sea or the highway

We arrived on the off season and the gate was closed and locked at the entrance. We explored on foot, found the owner and they agreed to allow us to stay - 10000 each for two adults and child free. Owners turned on the warm water for us to shower. We found enough firewood for a nice fire, water was turned on in the site, so we washed our van. Bathrooms are basic and the site is right on the beach. Really nice owners. We had the whole place to ourselves.

Really nice place! Fridge, microwave, drinkable water, warm showers, toilets, each camping spot has a tab with non drinkable water, BBQ, picknick table. Very warm welcome from the owner, speaks really good English. When we arrived just before the camping some girl from the playa thats there also said we couldnt sleep there and she didnt knew about the camping. Dont get you fooled by these people, the camping is up and running. Just follow the wooden sign that says camping when you arrive from the highway.

Report Check-In

Currently closed. Looks like it’s undergoing renovation/expansion? Maybe will reopen with high season soon.

Report Check-In

directly at the beach and close to the highway. no place to buy food or anything close by. 24/7 hot water, cost was 10000 for one person.

Report Check-In

Very basic campground next to the beach with very nice owners. However, that being said, the facilities are very old, it is overcrowded during summer and highly overpriced (10.000 pesos per person). The locks of the toilet are broken and the doors have the most awkward height ever - I am pretty short, but still I was lucky enough to look my pooping neighbour in the eyes while standing up. Decide yourself if this is something you like 😉

Report Check-In

Ununderstandably shut for the total solar eclipse JUL'2019; at least at Jun., 29th.

Report Check-In

Place closed. No idea whether temporary or not.
