Nicaragua
Hidden treasure for all those who want more choices for bread/pastery than the usual you get.
Price range is fair, might be a little bit more than what local bakeries (if you find one) take. But in return you get for example delicious, fresh croissants with ham and creme cheese for 50 Cordoba ($1,50/1,30€ at the moment). Considering that cheese and ham is quite expensive all over Central America (at least from my experience in supermarkets), decent price. Also offer bread, sweet pastery and what do I know - my eyes were glued to this croissant.

A delight to find Laugen Brotschen and Apfel Strudel!
