Shell Station | Informal Campsite

Tried to camp for the night. All the spots seemed to be taken by broken down trucks. No room for my 40’ skoolie. Ran down the road to the eco park and stayed outside the campground free overnight left in morning. I’m assuming they don’t let anyone camp there now. But could be wrong.

Después de esperar un buen rato y escuchar varias explicaciones nos dijeron que nos podíamos quedar bajo nuestra responsabilidad pero nos teníamos que ir a las cuatro de la mañana.
Nos fuimos.

Security of the supermarket told us we could stay but we were not supposed to leave our car after 10pm because of the security cameras which would alert the police in case of any movements in the parking lot. Because we don’t have a toilet in our van the risk that we would need to leave the car was to high for us and so we left. But security was very friendly and helpful, said we could use the bathroom of the supermarket until it closes at 10pm.

Night security guard said we can't park at the space with water and electricity. He said we could park in front of the supermarket. The shower is for staff only, the toilets we could use.

We just came from Mexico, so we don't know if this type of gas station is normal here! But this one is great! 24 hour security guard, said it's no problem to stay the night. Very clean bathrooms, parking spots for three rigs. Electricity outlets and water taps with very strong pressure right next to the spaces! Plus a market next door. Sure seems like a easy place to spend a night!
