Latest Check-Ins

Arrived on a Thursday and departed Saturday morning. There was only one other occupant upon arrival and only 2 more showed up by the time we left. I think it was an amazing place to escape the city, despite being only 40 minutes from Glendale/Pasadena where we live. The campground is situated in a canyon. A creek separates the two halves of the grounds and the road is just above. There are frequent passerby’s on the road, some of which are out on their weekend drive so the noise is typical of this area. There are handicap accessible sites which are full concrete slabs. Most of the car parks are long enough for a truck with a short trailer or a van. Restrooms are decent and the potable water made our visit a bit more convenient. All previous information mentioned by other visitors seemed to check out. We will definitely be returning.

Nice campground, $12 per night. Not too crowded.

Ok, there are two types of campers, people who like dispersed camping, and people who don't mind camping 15 feet from complete strangers. This site is not manned by staff, it has a $12 nightly fee, and if you have more than one vehicle it's $5 per extra vehicle. The sites will only fit two vehicles, so don't expect to fit more than two per site. I do not personally enjoy community camping, so this was not my cup of tea. It had 2 restrooms which were essentially permanent structure port-a-potties. Noise from neighbors was common, but most folks were respectful in the morning, the evening it was louder than I would have wanted. All in all, we were in LA for an event and needed a place to camp, this worked. I would never go here to see sites, or for any other reason honestly.

Nice place. Highly recommend.
Low highway noise.

Report Check-In

nice campground. beautiful hills around and cooler temp than most nearby areas. recommend driving in a bit because the first few spots are by the road where there is noise. no cell service. came in late on a thursday evening and hadn’t filled up yet

unfortunately, lots of trash :(. also, pit toilets not maintained

pack it in pack it out!!

Report Check-In

Decent overnight spot with pit toilet and water. Has hiking/mountain biking trail from camp.
Commuter traffic present on road at given times but quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Great little place. Wouldn’t get a spot on the weekend I imagine. Clean drop toilets and still $12 tent or RV. Remain road above pretty close but found it fairly quiet down there. Had only two car beepers early on in the night
