Latest Check-Ins

Ended up parking just past this pin, at the next T intersection (Cabezon & Gasco) there was a nice open field. Didn't see any no overnight parking signs at the trailhead, but we preferred to stay down the road. Free roaming bovines, so expect some deposits.

Road in was VERY washboarded. This area is a mix of BLM, tribal, and private land, so be mindful of where you choose to stay. It appeared that the bike trailhead is approximately where it transitions to BLM.

nice sized parking lot. the road is manageable on the way in, but washboard in lots of places

Parking lot for White Ridge trail system. Has picnic tables with shade canopies. A couple of CCTV cameras. No water or bathrooms. About 5 miles down washboard clay/gravel. Had place to ourselves. Enjoyed the MTB trails.

Amazing Spot! We did the first parking lot and it had 3-4 Verizon bars. About 1-2 cars visited each day. The second parking lot had about 4-6 cars each day and only 1-2 bars of service. I had to work during the weekdays so appreciated having the 3-4 bars. From the first parking lot, there is a trail head if you head back towards the cattle guard on the opposite side of the road.

Great little spot not too far off the main road. Nice and quiet with plenty of space to camp.

Report Check-In

Be warned, after an hour of rain the road is completely impossible to drive without a 4x4.
