Decided to camp here after visiting the Pueblo de los Muertos. The parking lot was a bit too muddy for our liking so when it started to rain we opted to take our chances on the way back. The flat spot next to the road here is also muddy so we camped right in the middle of the road. Quiet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Found a level spot 100 feet down the road at the trailhead. They have built a pit toilet there. We picked up the key in Lamud... had to wait until 3pm to get the key... then a thirty minute drive to camp. We hiked the next morning and it was EPIC. No cell coverage at camp (moviestar) but we did get a bit on the hike.

The flat spot next to the road here is also muddy so we camped right in the middle of the road along with "Lost in the Americas". Didn't see another person on the entire stretch of road from Lamud. Quiet (no dogs nor roosters here!) and free.
