Stayed one night with a bunch of other vans and overnighters. No knocks. Didn’t confirm with staff but no issues.

Confirmed with employee. Overnight stay is okay for 1 night. Nice and quiet.

Walmart still accept overnight stays. I confirmed with their staff and just stayed here a night with no issues.

We went inside and asked at the Customer Service counter and she said it was fine, and they prefer if we stay on the Home Depot side and not in the main lot out front. She was very nice and told us to be careful. Will update if we have any issues.

Walmart Parking Lot. Several other RV’s and very quiet after store closed. Nice Walmart and no problems staying overnight. Great place to sleep after long day at Joshua Tree National Park.

You are allowed to park here, but there was some people with an air horn driving around and they were really annoying. We moved to the welcome center.

Really nice and quiet Walmart. Not busy at all, there was a few other vans and RVs as well. Clean bathrooms and plenty of food options in the parking lot. Would 100% stay again.

Stayed for the night near the garage door
Other camper and pickup also was in the main parking, wifi no problem

Stayed for one night and it was very quiet. Called and checked with the store before staying and they said overnight parking is fine here. Parking lot felt very safe and was well lit. Saw a few vans in the parking lot as well. I’d say this is a pretty good spot if you’re looking to explore Joshua Tree!

We stayed on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend, only two other vans. No knock but there was a security vehicle in the parking lot. A little road noise but nothing that kept us up from sleeping

After a great adventure around Joshua Tree National Park, we made our way here. We double checked inside if it was still allowed and it was. There was several other campers, semi-trucks and cars that stayed overnight too. We felt safe the entire night. It wasn't too loud either.

Get ready for a VERY loud night. We tried sleeping here two nights. There is a man who sets up in front of Walmart and plays loud music through a speaker. He starts playing loud around 10. When we called Walmart, they say he is there every night and “can’t” do anything about it. We left the second night to BLM land.

standard Walmart lot. well lit with a security guard patrolling the lot. nice and safe. quiets down in the evening after close.

very close to JTNP so we used as a base camp and went in and out of the park for a few days.

standard Walmart parking lot, lots of other people there overnight. there's also a security car that drove through all night which was cool. very close to JTNP entrance

Called ahead to double check this is still a viable place to park. The associate said yep and was very kind. She advised parking on the pharmacy side since they’re open until 11pm and the Market entrance is open until close so it’s noisier. Normal Walmart spot, some noise but good in a pinch.

Really big lot. There was some music like others have said. Parked way in the back so really didn’t bother me.

You’re still allowed to stay overnight. Plenty of others here with a security car doing their rounds so very safe.
It’s pretty quiet for a Walmart but you are close to the road so you can hear cars passing. Overall, great night!

We stayed 3 nights here. Security patrolling the area the whole time. Never said anything to us. One of the better spots if you're heading into the park from the north end.

Typical Walmart! Closed 12-6am. I saw a few other campers. No problems over night camping. Very close to the Joshua Tree visitor center.

Fully functional Walmart. Overnight parking allowed. Just pick a spot down the back of the parking area. Security friendly and available 24 hours. Other RVs and vans parked for the night. Good location safe and secure. Good option for visiting Joshua tree National Park.

Typical Walmart parking lot. Several others were spending the night too. A bit noisy but felt safe with security patrolling. Good option if you’re coming into Joshua Tree late.

Walmart with restrooms and WIFi. A little noise from the road but nothing big. Some young people came to distract themselves and knocked at ours windows but a security car made them leave.

Easy Free campsite for the night. Walmart open from 6am - midnight for toilet.
