Awesome spot right in the river with huge red rock cliffs and cool breezes. No amenities except a fire pit and a garbage can. Fisherman use this spot to access the river but there is plenty of room.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No acces by car near the river anymore. They close the access. So you have to park on the road Beautiful place like the description before.
Report Check-InIt is one of my favorite campsite of this trip: flat, under the trees, good wind protection, warm water, quite... The river was so beautiful and the canyon was amazing. The only bad thing were the moquitos and sand fly.
Report Check-InAs already described. We were welcomed by the owner of the swing pool which is located near by. Very nice and warm. We talked for a few minute and he left. It was a bit windy but the view on the river and the cliffs is amazing.
Report Check-InIt's realy a very nice spot directly on the river. As we were there it was crowded with a hugh group of young people with tents. It was not realy space for us, so we decided to spend the night on the nearby campground.
Report Check-InNice fishing place. friendly policeman came to check our pasports and said it was ok to camp here
Report Check-InYes! What a nice drive down into this canyon after all that thousands of kilometers pampa... Saturday night, and we were alone. There are a lot of sites to chose here. Free!
Report Check-InNice place but don't come here on a sunday. Impossible to get a spot next to the river so can only eat dust next to the road. And best to bring food because the village sells almost nothing and what they sell is highly overpriced.
Report Check-InVery busy during the day with locals fishing and picnicking. Great birdwatching early in the morning. Does anyone know what the abandoned mill is next to the camp?
Report Check-InBeautiful spot on a sandbank at a bend in the river. Calm water suitable for swimming in warmer months. Plenty of shade under trees. No fishing without a licence.
Report Check-InDefiniitely a very cool spot. We spent 2 nights here enjoying the river with the locals during the days, but we were by ourselves at night.
Report Check-InBeautiful location for a night, drive through the municipal campground to the end.
Report Check-InAwesome spot right on the river with huge red rock cliffs and cool breezes. No amenities except a fire pit and a garbage can. Fisherman use this spot to access the river but there is plenty of room. We were here alone during the week. It was very warm when we were here so we cooled off in the icy river.
Report Check-InDidn't see that in the dark. Just perfekt!
