Ecocamping Valladolid | Established Campground

Interesting place full of old Beetles and even an airplane in which you can sleep in.

Probably 3 spaces for rigs.
1-2 spots for tents (non-vans have to be parked outside).
Safe, clean and neat.

In the middle of the site is a bar and a music stage where they have concerts at the weekend.
All in all, it is a little dense and therefor not much privacy why I left after one night.
Internet is available.

Pretty nice camping. With a natural pool and hammocks. There is a bar and a restaurant. Not cheap but food was good. Staff friendly and we negotiate 700$ for 2 adults and 2 childs

Very nice and Special Place !!! We liked it very much.
Ramon is very helpful and helped us fixing a technical problem. Possible to walk into downtown (about 3km one way) Very quiet at night. Everything very clean 👍🏽

Had a great stay at eco camping , Ramon the owner is really friendly and loves a chat. The camp ground has clean toilets and fully equipped kitchen. Power was only for charging devices. Little oasis is the jungle. Highly recommend

Super friendly and laid back campground.
Clean showers and toilets, clean campground. Different areas to hang out and relax.
150M$/person to camp.

We payed 100M$/bike for half a day and drove to the city and a cenote. The owner told us that the bikes are much more expensive in other locations.

UPDATE: On our way back we stopped in Valledolid again. This time we stayed in Xkopek. More shade, cheaper bikes (50M$ per day), also nice communal area.
Eco-Camping seems overpriced.

Great location, close to chichen itza and to Ekbalam. The site is well taken care off and reasonably priced (we were charged mx$ 150 per person). No electric hook up for the camper, as they are 100% solar. Kitchen is quite comfortable, so it was nice to cook there, instead of the camper, for once.

Ramon and Christian are great hosts.

And the beetles turned rooms are quite charming

Very narrow und challanging gravel road to the site. We could not make it with our 22“ RV with low undercarriage clearance. Had to turn around and that was not fun either. Beware! 4x4 or for vans only.

Hmmmmmmm, yes not to bad but price for camping.....apparently because it's now December is 250 pp........yes you heard right, and 700 to sleep in a car for the night. My wife wanted to sleep in a car so we stayed....happy wife happy life apparently!

An excellent place: friendly staff, clean bathrooms, kitchen, use of fridge, space for camp fire, space for tents and a few big riggs. A new camp. Beetles converted into bedrooms, look comfortable.

This place is worth supporting and Ramon has put a great deal of effort into making it a very relaxing spot. Quiet, neat with good bathrooms an open plan kitchen, an outdoor leisure area, a small library and a gym. We spent two enjoyable nights here.

Great place! We chilled out, met other overlanders - it's basically a hostel for overlanders despite being quite small (space for 2/3 small rigs) a larger rig arrived when we were there and parked outside. People can also tent camp or sleep in the VW bugs. Whole thing is solar run showers are good, cold but good and you don't need the heat in this climate. Paid 100Pp for camping and would be 180 Pp for camping + breakfast which we didn't need. Definitely come here and relax and enjoy the free fish spa! Had wifi but we didn't try it.

Stayed one night with two vans. There is space for two, max 3 rigs. You can use toilets, showers, kitchen and the "pool" for 100$MXN pp. Friendly owner and nice little campground.

A wounderfull place to relax and enjoy the fish spa. A good thing is also the tour to the secret cenot. We love this place. Rates: 100 Mex per Person without breakfast and Tour. (Tour to the Cenote 30 Mex p.P.). 200Mex$ p.P. incl. breakfast and the tour.

Included in all rates are to use the kitchen, shower and pool.

The best small campground in Mexico !
The owner is very very friendly !
Everything is hand made and the concept is so cool !
We were like at home with our VW T3 in the middle of the "Vochos"
Love it !!!

Fore sure this is a nice place. Ramón is a very welcoming guy. He does a lot for the guests to feel comfortable.
The hike to the secret cenote is very special. It’s a must do.
The facilities are very good and well maintained and clean, especially the kitchen.
There is a small pool to cool off and a nice palapa to hang out.
Internet is not fast, but nice to have.
The location is 3 km from town, half of it on dirtroad. Bicycles are available.
Valladolid is surrounded by several cenotes, at least try some of these swimming caves, like Xkeken, which is 7 km from the campground.

Really liked the place and Ramón. We stayed three nights.

Campground is just new opened. There are a few Stall Planes for small riggs. Ramon is a very gentle and helpfull host and owner. Speaks good english. You are standing between old Volkswagen Beetles used as Smalltalk Sterling cabins. Very stylish and beautiful. Clean bathrooms, hot showers. Payed 180 Mxps for a night.

Price is 180MP/pp, breakfast and electricity included. They have a natural pool, nice common area and even a small gym. The "Bochos" (VW Beetle) rooms cost 500MP/night. Enough space for maybe 4-5 rigs. We did not stay as it is a bit far from the city centre.

Perfect place to stay!! don't miss the chance to know this beautifull place. it s a very original idea, the owner has beattle cars made as rooms to stay overnigth, place for camping and a lot of space for RVs.
Ramon is the owner, he has travel a lot and know very well all you need for a nice stay. There is a private space for camp fire and every night there is something going on... can be cinema, or telescope if there is a full moon or just relax in the fire area.
Don't miss the chance to know the secret cenote that is close to the camping!! he can guide you to this unexplored place and you can enjoy same quite and relaxing place with a beautifull view in the middle of the bushland.
