Nice and quiet campground approx 15km outside of El Chalten (towards Lago del Desierto). The sites are in a little forest and therefore well protected from the wind. BBQ, tables/benches, light and power at sites. Hot showers 24h. There is an onsite restaurant which we didn't try. We paid 75 pesos per person.
It is still closed-says a sign on the fence. The fence was locked with a chain so I didn't try to get in.
Report Check-Inbe very careful with these people. they are very aggressive and physically assaulted us when we unknowingly trepassed on their land (unsigned unfenced land) would not recommend any dealings with these people
Report Check-Incamping looks nice and very empty. they asked 200 pesos per person per night. didnt stay.
Report Check-InWe didn't sleep here as the price turned out to be 200 pesos per person to camp. No other people camping here right now.
