We showed up at eight o clock to not miss the the gas camiones. We could fill our fixed gas tank right away (acme).
But there were standing other camiones on the place so I guess it would also be possible later in the day with waiting time.
Price was listed on the door.
Very friendly and reliable!

local price is ARG 1210 per 10kg but they charge premium for freign cylinders.

ARG 2000 for 7kg (20lb tank) still a good price

Report Check-In

We were so relieved to finally get our UK fixed lpg tank filled here for 280 pesos per kilo. We arrived at 2:30pm on a Wednesday and we’re lucky that the truck was there. We drove the whole way from Buenos Aires without success, but no problem at all here.
They prefer you to arrive at 8am otherwise truck is circulating. They are very friendly.

Note for European tanks: Here in argentina the big Gas trucks have a hose to fill tanks fitted with an ACME connection, used in countries like Ireland, Austria, Germany and the USA.

Chile also uses the same connector, so if you have a fixed gas tank, make sure to have an ACME Adaptor with you if your tank fill point is not a native one.

Basically if you have a full set of European LPG adaptors you will be covered.

Report Check-In

We were advised to turn up at about 0800 the next morning and a propane truck would fill up the fixed tank on our Canadian rig. The propane truck was exactly on time and our tank was filled in a few minutes. Wonderful service. (I don't remember the price - I was so excited to get the tank filled! We had filled it here almost exactly a year ago.)

You must line up an appointment when the truck is available. Best to go the day before and make arrangements. Truck usually available just after 0800.
We also had a small moveable tank filled. They provided the fittings.
