USER REPORTS "The camping was closed. Man told us they had to repair things on the campground, but it looked closed since a long time."
In Chunyaxche, Camping Kambulum is within walking distance of Muyil ruins and Muyil Lagoon.
This campsite is within the region of Laguna Chunyaxche and Cenote Crystal.
Located exactly at km 210 of the Cancun-Chetumal highway.
There is nobody waiting in the parking lot, do not touch the door, you need to go through the initial door, the campsite and those who serve you are inside.
The place is huge, and the camping area is not at the entrance.
It has space for motorhome.
The reception has a limited timetable. There is free parking available

Report Check-InYou can stay the night here in your van. They also have some tents near the pool. Or you can rent a room.
There is a kitchen available for cooking, including a fridge.
Wifi should work, but it didn’t because of bad weather, the host told us. The host is very friendly.
Toilets are OK. Shower was cold, but no problem. Pool not very clear.
We paid 200p for the van and two people.
The jungle setting is really nice, but the bugs make it less comfortable. You need a good repellent.
Kambulum is a cute place, but pay attention:
Camping in your car is only possible in a parking after the gates. This parking is kind of abandoned and there is a lot of trash.
There were an awful lot of insects and the next day we found out that our dog had over a hundred ticks (I don’t know if that’s the right name for it. In Dutch they are called teken) on her..
So only go here if you have powerful insect protection, or if you have a tent to set up.
Is so beautiful .
The bathrooms are ok , and the shower...they have a Tracking into the jungle is so beautiful.
The stars and the noise about the birds is beautiful .
They have a pool, kitchen with refri, we can cook
So nice place
Not a camping ground anymore. We arrived at about 7pm and they didn’t receive us.
Report Check-InStayed in the small parking lot in front of this place. Some road noise through the night but felt safe. Left by 8:30 before it opened
