Mexico
Boat rides through mangroves filled with crocodiles and turtles. MXP 200 pp
Boat ride takes you through a mangrove tunnel where you see many crocodiles, turtles, and many different types of birds. it ends at a restaurant called La Tovara, a small place with decently priced food and beer and a cool rope swing to jump into the clear blue water (no crocodiles).
The whole thing takes about 2 hours, including about an hour at the restaurant. for an extra MXP 70 pp they'll take you to a crocodilero where you can see more crocodiles and a few other animals.
cool experience, definitely recommend it

we did the bigger tour for $250 per person.
first stop was at the crocodile farm after a 45min boat tour with öits of photo stops. lots of crocodiles, turtles and birds.
We spent 30min at the croc farm then went to the restaurant with bar and pool. the water was nice and cristal clear. the duration of the tour was
advertised for 2,5 hours. we spent 1hr at the restaurant and it took 3hrs in total.
This tour is one of the coolest things we’ve done in Mexico, they offer two different tours:
La Tovara- MX $200/person to boat down the river and spend an hour at a safe swimming hole that also serves drinks.
Cocodrilio- MX 250/ person takes you further down the river, squeezing under a bridge, to the cocodrilio zoo. Absolutely worth it, the zoo also has a small swimming hole, and a variety of animals on display, the habitats are a little small especially by US standards but it’s cool to see the crocodiles of every size
On both tours you’ll see wild crocodiles, rare endemic birds, and turtles
Report Check-InThis is a better place than the other location to catch a boat. Many people come here and it is set up for tourist. The boats are large and can take approx 8-10. The other place you need 4 people to ride a boat. We arrived here and jump onto a boat without having to wait, we were 2 people. 200 pesos per person we saw many crocodile, birds and turtles. Take you swimsuit for a swim in an area without crocodiles! They also drop you off to a small zoo 20 pesos
Report Check-InWe recommend this trip. We were sceptical but we gave it a try and were happy, especially our kids. We saw lots of turtles, birds, and a few crocs. The croc zoo was a little depressing due to the size of the cages, especially for the poor panthers. The restaurant was good. Try the shrimp burritos! Swimming in the pool was nice way to cool off before returning to the parking lot.
Also, highly recommend the banana bread being sold at the stalls just outside the parking lot!
