- We camped in the corner of a small car park next to the ypf. Decent free wifi, views of the (rather dirty) river, but nothing special. There seems to be a picnic area on the left side of the gas station, but it looked abandoned.
- Routing tip: The direct route from here to Chos Malal is partly dirt, some parts with really bad corrugations. Plus there is not much to see, just hundreds of oil wells.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I just want to make it clear that the showers are for truck drivers only, and they don't allow other travelers to use the showers, NOT EVEN BY PAYING. Otherwise, it's a good place to sleep, very quiet at night, as the convenience store closes at 10 pm and is only open for fuel. Very safe, I recommend!
Report Check-InWe parked around back of cafe. Wifi working and decent. Spent the night. 4G cell reception too.
Report Check-InNO Wifi! Despite the signs at the cafe. They have a problem with internet at the moment.
Report Check-InCamp by the station YPF. Yes, there is space to park or pitch the tent by the brown river. So you can use the bathroom and restaurant by the station! Free.
P.S. I am traveling with motorbike and I have been awarned that the road 151 to Santa Isabel is very bad. So I will take the 20 east to La Reforma.
quiet night at this YPF. WiFi wasn't working at the moment and also no showers. although not bad for an overnight stop
Report Check-InIf you go north, fill your tank here,
the last station you can enjoy lower price (11.79 L ). The YPF at General Alvear is 15.35 L
