My kids enjoy playing at Salmon Creek beach. The weather is nice and sunny.
Report Check-InSizeable pull out with the sounds of the ocean rolling in. There were several other people at this spot but I wasn’t bothered. Road is moderately trafficked. I arrived/departed late in the dark so I can’t speak for the views.
If you are a light sleeper there is a beacon that pings pretty regularly, so that may influence you to stay elsewhere
Report Check-InDecent spot I’m a pinch. Not anywhere else close you can stay for free so we stayed. Little harbor town with some restaurants and things. Road noise that dies down after dark. We were in a RRT so very obvious that we were staying and no one bugged us. Actually had some nice chats too. Not the best view overall but did have a nice sunset.
Report Check-InNot sure why the spot is on here twice but figured I’d put it in both of them. Nice little spot with a decent view and a nice walk over to the beach area. The road is semi-busy but at night does quiet down a lot. It’s one of those situations where if you live in a van you probably should be a heavier sleeper anyway. No issues at all and there is even a guy selling some fresh honey next to me during the day. Also a very easy walk into bodega Bay if you want to check out some of the fish shops.
There was some road construction equipment in the spaces as well but it was a weekend so that wasn’t a concern for me. Still plenty of space to park a handful of vans.
