......
Very nice flat grassy spot at the lake. Wonderful free place in a region with a lot of fences. Easy accessible although also hidden place. Fire pit and small beach to swim with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains! Some trees if you want shade. Probably locals also use this spot, but we saw only two friendly people in the evening. No one around at night.

Access: If you drive on the main road 201-CH coming from the south, take the road to the village of Bocatoma. After 200m turn right on a gravel road that leads to the school and rural health centre “Posta” of Bocatoma. Keep on following this road around the school building to the lakeside +/- 500m further. No need for 4WD, also possible for big rigs. This road is not shown on GPS apps.

Now, there is a sign that isn't allowed anymore to sleep here. So we did'nt stay here...

We love this place! It is exactly like it is described in the previous descriptions. mostly families during the day and at night so calm. Direct access to the lake, with view at the volcano rukapillan. Enjoy :)

Report Check-In

This place is insane. You have to go here! Quiet and very peaceful.

Report Check-In

Don't miss it! As there were an hot spring close by before they built the dam, water is warmer than most of the other lakes! A few locals during day and evening (some making their laundry, hihihi) but the place is quiet, gorgeous and semi-private

Report Check-In

Absolutely gorgeous wild camping place. While hidden from the main road, it is directly in front of the exit of Nativo Lodges. 4 cars passed by from the lodge, but no issues. Fire circles available. Very loud birds in the morning that woke us up.

Espacio maravilloso!

Report Check-In

Lugar maravilloso !
Totalmente recomendado !!
Pd: lleve su basura !!

nice place to camp one or two nights there are fire pits and small beach on the lagoon Pullinque. Take the trash with to you don't let in site!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice place at a beautiful little lake as mentioned below. Access is not easy for high campervans because of benches and trees.

Report Check-In

What a beautiful spot! The view over the lake is amazing, the place is flat, has green grass and our night was super quiet. In the afternoon / evening there were also some locals (sunday), but the last left after sunset. Access was easy with the description and no signs seen on trees or whatsoever. Our campervan is 2.75m and it fits under all the trees.

Report Check-In

Perfect lake spot. Plenty of flat grassy area and under trees. The lake was super calm and no wind or mosquitos. There were cows keeping us company in the afternoon, but they left in the evening. No trash which was nice

Report Check-In

Nice little place with a good view over the lake. Clean for Chile. Right in front of the gate of a few waterfront houses, but the people didn’t seem to mind us much for 1 nighr.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Just perfect! When we arrived (with the excellent description of how to get there) there where a few locals that left after some time. After that we had the place for ourselves. We could enjoy the view that included a clear Villarica vulcano before some light rain started, but even with the rain the place is magical for a night and swim in the lake.

Little place, maybe for 5 cars, now there are 3 tents.

Report Check-In

Saludos!

Report Check-In

it’s an incredible place, our truck is 4 meters high and the road has trees, we pass too tight!

Report Check-In

Stunning little location to sleep! A few locals dipping in and out throughout the afternoon, but quiet at night. There are a few dogs that hang around here, one of which did bark in the night, but they are friendly. Hungry, but friendly!
Follow the instructions and you'll get there no problem. There is a somewhat low branch on the way down with a sign hanging from it. We managed to get under the branch in our 2.8m high rig fine, although we did hit the sign!
Decent 4g signal on Entel and intermittent 4g on Claro.

Best place ever to stay, make sure to look at the sky at night 🧡

small beach but really nice.just as n info there is Doberman dogs (2?) coming out of the nearby home..so if u have a dog keep in mind.

Still reaaly nice place as mentioned before. We stayed for one night. Some locals were swimming but they left with dark.
In the morning we were unlucky (or lucky). At 5:50 we started to hear some load noises - mans shouting, drums and something like trumpets. When we get out of tent we saw arround 20 natives in ponchos performing some kind of ritual - they were riding horses around some old trees while shoating. Wery interesting to see. No clue what it was. They were performing it with pauses all morning and when we were leaving (10 am) they were still doing it.

As written below already, very beautiful place with nice views -loved it here :-)

Report Check-In

Incredible place!!! Some locals go for the evening... But at night and in the morning you have the lake and a beautiful volcano view all by yourself (and maybe one more overlander :)

Report Check-In

Beautiful place! 1 family from France and us + some locals(?) who put there music very loud in the morning. But when they left... nice and quiet! we also swim there.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a quiet stay on the lake. Except for local quiet people on the 1st of January, we were the only ones. Place for 2 big rigs and one small.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place and awesome views - Totally recommended!
Take your trash with you!

Report Check-In

A beautiful place overlooking the lake!! Sadly we also see a lot of toiletpaper in the bushes and a heap of human waste in the middle of this spot in a hollow tree... This makes me sad and angry. I love wild camping. A part of this is taking all rubbish with us and burrying our waste. Please help keep this beautiful country clean!

Report Check-In

Really nice and quiet spot next to the lake. Easy access, just don't follow Maps.me but the explanations below.
We enjoyed a BBQ on an already existing fire pit.

Report Check-In

perfect spot, wonderful view on laguna and volcano villarrica.
we stayed 2 nights.

Prettig and quiet place with wood to build a fire and a stunning view on the lake

Great wild camp location. A few friendly familys coming in and out of the area but all were very nice and had no problem with us staying. We felt very comfortable with our tent and bikes.

Report Check-In

Highly recommend. Everything is accurate. Follow the access instructions vs. Maps.me as it led us to a road that didn’t exist. Lots of friendly local dogs visited looking for food and pets. A local couple came down at sunset but otherwise quiet and clean. There are people living at the neighbouring property that overlooks part of the beach area.

Report Check-In

Great quiet and clean spot with views of the volcano next to the lake. Met some locals who went for a swim in the afternoon but no one minded us (2 cyclists plus a tent) staying there.

Report Check-In

Very nice camp spot. Beautiful view over the lake and the volcany and perfect for a swim. Very popular with other overlanders, when we were there 2 big trucks and 3 other campervans were there. Well worth a look and perfect when you’re the only one there

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot at lake shore! Grassy area with a few large trees. Couldn't see the volcano because of a cloudy/rainy day, but still a great view. We stayed here for one night in our 4wd. A small car with two tents arrived after us, but decided to pack up again after it had stopped raining (?). Some locals built a fire and had drinks in the middle of the night - a little noisy, but they did respect our privacy. A local dog also stayed with us all night - give her a pet :)

Report Check-In

great spot and very quiet. the view is fantastic. a few locals were there but they were very nice and left before sunset. keep it clean as it seemed very tidy when we were there.

also if there is a female german shepard there give her a big tummy rub from us. we think she lives nearby but she stayed the night and slept next to our van

Report Check-In

It's really one of the best lake places you can find in Chile and Argentina. But please respect that it is a place also for the locals to go swimming. That's means not more than one Rv/Motorhome at the same time. There's very less space.

Report Check-In

Nice place to put the tent. Great view on the lake + volcano. A family was there with a bbq when we arrived.

Report Check-In

Incredible! Best day we’ve had in a while :) caught (and released) 2 fish (not entirely sure what kind), had a fire with a lovely sunset over the water. Spot faces east-ish so full morning sun, went behind trees above between 12-2 then magical afternoon sun between swaying trees. 3 sets of friendly locals came to the water but only said hi and returned to their own business. 100% recommend. Ps- some dead trees around for firewood behind fence to the right :)

Report Check-In

great spot, lots of locals coming down but no one minded me being there.

Report Check-In

beautiful spot on little lake with surrounding mountains and volcano in background. quiet. few locals during day, but no one over night. stayed here 2 nights with car and tent and no one bothered us. some fire pits. gorgeous.

Vejam as fotos.

Only access for R with height lower than 3,5m is possible. Be carefull. Otherwise it will take a long way in reverse, as we done. See the photos.

Report Check-In

beautiful quiet spot by the lake. there were a couple families when we arrived but they left at sunset. the view is absolutely spectacular, looking over the lake with the snow capped volcano in the background.
we followed the road to the school. the sign is painted on a big rock by the main road. there is also a sign for Nativo.

Report Check-In

Very nice flat grassy spot at the lake side. Wonderfull free place in a region with a lot of fences. Easy accessible although also hidden place. Fire pit and small beach to swim with beautifull views on the surrounding mountains ! Some trees if you want shadow.
