The worst parkinglot we stayed during 4months mexico.
Its more busy than a Mc’Do drivetrough, a constant come and go. Got at least 4 doors smashed against my van (although I was perfectly parked) one guy hit my front while trying to do a reverse parking (minor scrach but still a shock). Kids climbed my rooftoprack..loud music from the bar close by..
What a night..
Maybe there is something in the tapwater of this town? I don’t know..

Car: Normal size Van GMC Savana

A great place near the centre. We felt very comfortable. We walked into town in a few minutes. It was very quiet and the police drove by from time to time to check if everything was ok. We slept here for three nights.

Report Check-In

Quiet during the day. Noisy from 9pm to midnight. There’s a show at the convent at 9pm in Spanish and 9:30pm in English to explain the history of Valladolid. Then, from 10pm to midnight there’s a bar in the corner with LIVE music.

todo lo que se dice anteriormente, seguro y ruidoso por la noche por los bares, mucho paso de gente pero hermoso dormir al lado literal del convento. (foto vista desde la ventana)

everything that is said above, safe and noisy at night because of the bars, a lot of people passing by but beautiful to sleep literally next to the convent.

Report Check-In

Good located place, but very loud music at night time (friday) until after midnight, unfortunately no light show at the moment (malfunction)

Report Check-In

Very nice place to sleep and spend some time. Walking distance from city center, light show at night (9pm in Spanish, 9.20pm in English). Although there is a bar with loud music, they close at 11pm (pandemic times). People was really friendly.

Very quiet and safe place to spend the night. A lot of shade where to park. There are two parking lots, one on each side of the Exconvent or over all the street in front of it. Police came constantly. You can watch the movie in the convent every day at 9:20pm. Very quiet night. Bathrooms at ex convent office. $5 mxn

Great place for the night. Some music from the bars but not too load and stopped early. Well lit and security across the street. Carnival in the main square, and it was quiet here.

Ótimo lugar para dormir e estar durante o dia, grátis, tem sombra, pouco barulho, super tranquilo e as 21h fazem uma projeção de uns 20min contando um pouco da história de Valledolid. Estacionando gratuito.

Very very quiet.

Report Check-In

We came around 16.00, claimed a nicely leveled spot in the first parking row under big tree, went for walk and dinner, waited for the start of the video show projected on the Cathedral.

Around 23.00 all bars and restaurants closed and by 23.45 it was quiet.

* 4 bars on Telcel
* Street lighting
* 24hour/day security presence in the government building across the street

We did stay one night, had no problems of any kind. Good, secure spot....

The informative short movie (English and Spanish) isn't like projecting a regular movie on a screen. They somehow engineered the movie to fit and flow with the building's shape. Nice perk to the safe parking spot. Dog friendly with the large grassy area in front.

Report Check-In

we parked on the other side of the church, in front of La Taverna De Los Frailes. Some traffic at night and around 8-10 pm it was full of people coming to watch the movie that gets projected on the church, but otherwise quiet.

Report Check-In

This parking lot is busy during the week so come after 5pm. On weekends almost nobody is there. Relatively quiet at night and less pass through traffic.

Report Check-In

Music stayed at 2 am slightly noisy. But it was free and felt totally safe. Good for the kids in the evening as there is grass to run on and a playground across the way. Even a spot to fill large water bottles by the playground.
