Chile
Amazing place for rock climbing where you can camp right at the wall. 2000 pp includes climbing and camping, 1000 pp just to climb. Site has pit toilets, little Refugio with fire stove and kitchen utensils, and a fire pit area with firewood provided. Hot Showers are 1500 extra at the yellow house across from the campsite where the owners live (but we did not use them). The owners are super lovely and also sell bread and other products. There is also another climbing sector which you pass to get here called areodromo which has harder climbs. The topos for the climbs are in the Refugio and super easy to follow.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Okay camping, cold showers, no wind protection, stunning view
Owners not so kind
Paid $6000pp
Would not go here without climbing
You have to cross a river, works well but own risk
We didn’t stay but place looks really nice and have plenty of good tent spots. Loads of people though, and the climbs looked a bit too hard for us so we went to aérodromo instead, which was way less people and easier climbs. But if you’re a climber and want to meet people this is definitely the spot!
Report Check-InJust a thing : you have to bring your own climbing equipment, there is no renting here!
Report Check-InThere are new bathrooms and cold shower available. The installation for hot shower is complete, but not yet functional. Unfortunately the price went up to 4000 pp. The place is really picturesque but for the same price you can get something with WiFi/hot shower.
Would not recommend if You're not a climber. For climbers - highly recommend.

great place to climb. 2000 pppn with climbing...hot shower extra for 1500. nice lady. pit toilets and camping directly at the wall. its also possible to drive and camp there with a van...bumpy road but ok...duable with every kind of car!!
Report Check-InNothing to add to Gabrielle Ganser’s details regarding camping (except perhaps that the view is beautiful).
For climbers, however, I might note that aside from a small “sector de escuela”, the routes tend to be 5.11 (French 7) and up. There’s one 5.10/6a+ just outside of the quinche and to the right, that has a rather interesting crux move with an airy finish. All routes are single pitch. Very fun!
Report Check-InReally lovely place in the middle of cerro castillo valley! It's about 3km out of the town (pretty bad ripio road but mostly flat, no problems for cars and bikes) and right next to the walls for rock climbing. The equipment is quite basic but for the price it's totally ok. It's 2000 pesos per person per day and another 1000 pesos entry per person which only has to be payed once. The owners are very friendly and take good care of the place. It somehow has a very special and relaxed atmosphere!
We also saw some condors here flying pretty deep above the climbing walls
