Gorgeous little camp spot beside the river, perfect for cycle tourers, people have obviously camped just beyond the large felled trees. Easy access from the road.

Indeed very beautiful. Clean river, nice forest, lots of animals. Very good place for tents. With our Van (Delica) we managed to get through the trees to the flat spots. Not good for big rigs. Mobile data is only available a few km south.
The cattle farming that was mentioned in the previous post is 1km downstream. The place itself is surrounded by forest, so I don't see the problem.
Someone decided to despose of an entire glass door, other than that the spot is very clean.
Report Check-InThere is some heavy cattle farming going on nearby so the place smelled quite a bit. I would not drink the water. Seemed ok and flat for tents.
Report Check-InNot good for cars. Instead drive 10 kms south, take a left and go to the camp marked ‘river camp’ on iOverlander. Much nicer scenery and more private.
Report Check-Ingreat spot, took a day off here. It's clean, please keep it that way :)
Report Check-InReally nice spot by the river with a couple of fire pits. Not much traffic at all, the sound of the river is nice to sleep to.
Report Check-InReally nice location close to the road but still hidden. We were touring and camped at the riverside. Great and clean location, there are some firepits from others travelers that visit this site.
