Great for cyclists we went further along than previous campers. Tucked away under the trees for shade. Sea yards from the tent. A few families having a swim but by 6pm it was deserted. There were white faced monkeys running around but they didn't disturb us. Just eating breakfast watching a pod of maybe killer whales pass by.
Report Check-In(Solo woman cycling) I was recommend by a guy passing by to pitch my tent at the beach. It felt safe. It’s very beautiful but lots of sandflies. When I had pitched my tent the guy later came back and said he owned the palm plantation dadada. He just wanted me to pay and rip me of. He later came back and woke me up in the middle of the night and asked if I wanted him to stay. “If I find any turtles I’ll tell you”. It was maybe 3am. A guy I talked to the morning after said his name is frank and he’s a thief, a creep and a crackhead (he’s pretty skinny and has dreadlocks). I’m sure he’s not dangerous but just be aware.
Report Check-InGreat location on the grass and in the shade to spend the night. Very calm we are between the houses and hotels but alone in the world on the spot which is large enough for several vehicles. Safe
Report Check-InArrived there on Sunday under a pourring rain. Didn't find any toilets or showers even asking to different hostels around. They just told us to go to the Gas station to find some.
Anyway, very nice situation to camp with a roof top tent.
Safe, free coconuts water, very nice black sand beach. Seems safe but the currents are quite strong !
Stayed one night with no issues.
Nice place. No services. Weak Claro reception.
