Description

3 Mesquites Mezcal is a rural, traditional, and high quality producer of mezcal. The owner and his son run, Gregorio and Rogelio Martinez, are very humble and nice people. They showed us their process and invited us to dinner. We bought 2 litres of their amazing Mezcal and spent the night for free. they have nice bathrooms, a shop for miscellaneous things and a cyber internet with wifi. They will charge a small fee to camp but if you buy some mezcal its free. really beautiful landscape and you get a truly mexican tradition experience.
we camped in our camperizsd van. a fifth wheel is probably too big but vans, 4x4 jeeps etc is fine.

Report Check-In

Absolute no need to go!
We tock a substantial detour to visit this hole-in-the-wall type place whilst we could have had much more comprehensive explanations on multiple mescalerias on the main road, which we had.
Side note to fellow travelers: please refrain from exageration when describing places. You safe others time and money!!

Report Check-In

Excellent mezcal! About 5 different varieties to choose. The family is very friendly and allowed us to camp, even showing up on a Sunday night when I imagine they aren't used to getting visitors. We camped in our RTT in the yard. There isn't much room for anything more than a truck/RTT or a small RV.
