Something not right?

Description

After we could not go to Chorro de la Mozas we just took the road up the hill (road would not show on our GPS, but you can see it here on the map in satellite mode - take a right if you go from El Valle towards the falls, just shortly before the Chorro de La Mozas parking lot, take next possible road left). Very steep road up to a lookout, there we found a big and flat gravel area just off the road. Some traffic but not too much.. many people that came to that place because of the view, but did not bother us.

- free
- nice view
- nice breeze
- some traffic but only little during night

on est restés deux nuits ici sans soucis. personne n'est venu nous déranger. pas mal de passage la journée (samedi et dimanche). les nuits sont fraîches.

Report Check-In

Tried to stay for a night, but the police came at 10pm saying we should move to the town. We ended up staying next to the church. Quite and safe, but daily operations starts pretty early in town. Best wild camping spots are on the dirt road to Cerro Iguana.

Quiet place, really calm after 22 (we were a saturday !). Beautiful sunset !

Nice size pull off on the side of the road. Temperatures are some of the best in Panama at a little under 800m altitude! Fine for big rigs, many people come by during the day, and an occasional small party group at night. Stayed a couple of days here.

Report Check-In

The view is great and we had a quiet night with great temperatures.

Report Check-In

Great spot. Reasonably flat gravel area by the side of the road. Great views, stayed for a week. Cool breeze, 26`C during the day, 19'C at night - the coolest spot around reachable by car. Frequent rain showers, but rarely rained for more than two hours. The access road from El Valle is very steep. No facilities or food.

Free parking/ camping on top of mountain. Great breeze, not to much traffic, mostly tourism if any. If I can stay here in a rooftop tent, you can just about stay in anything. Instead of heading straight to Laz Moza's waterfall, follow the road it past the waterfall turn it will get steep, don't worry you'll make it! When on top of steep road/mountain make first paved left. Large parking on left hand side. I drove up a bit off the road see attached photo.
