Description

This is a nice place to stay overnight and it was quiet until 5am. Than the church bells woke us up and at least cannon shots. But I think they had a fiesta because all the people went to church with lights at 5:30am. I don't think they do this every day ;-) But anyways it is a nice place with a market in front, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Also public restrooms during the day (9 am to 8pm, 5 Pesos) at the Basilica and in town. And the best thing is there is free wifi! MXConectado-E is the name. Email and App Store is blocked but social media and google works pretty fast. We didn't try do upload pictures so don't know if this works.

Quiet street parking after about 10pm. Could safely leave your car here all day. We stayed on the main road in front. There is a narrow, less busy road on one side, but it’s a dead end and my spouse doesn’t like dead ends. Was woken by church bells around 6...

Great place near everything...free internet still...although unavailable when vendors show up...but good at night.

Great flat spot and free wifi. Was a bit noisy the first night because of the bar so we moved on the other side of the plaza for the second night . Calle del jardin de la basilica . A little slope but really quiet . The whole historic town is gorgeous ! Enjoy
