Several good boondocking sites 6-8 miles from the coast at Cambria. On Highway 46. Well set up back from road with views down coast to Mirro Rock at some sites.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
By side of highway so lots of road noise, and the angle tilts to the right. Got the knock by state trooper just checking to see if I need help. Said he wasn't gonna say anything about me camping here but YMMV. If you do down a bit there is a much better spot, better views, and more level ground.
Report Check-InWe stayed here with a couple of other vans. Pretty incredible views from the top. Some relatively flat spots. Highway noise but not too bad.
Report Check-InVery quiet at night with an incredible sunset view. We were the only ones staying during the night.
Report Check-InIt was a bit hard to find but there are small roads that lead up to a higher level than the highway, behind mountains. We hear crickets and we are between beautiful mountains. Cool!
Report Check-InGreat views with It’s quite at night but you’re right next to the highway so alot of road noise during the day. We stopped right at mile 6.2.
