Report Check-InFriendly officer asked us to open the back. He had a look and everything was fine. They didn't ask for fruits or vegetables and I was even eating a fruit while talking to him.

Report Check-In@rabugentos_trip
Report Check-InThey were very nice. They took away our peppers. Otherwise, it was just: no fruit, meat and cheese. Butter and cucumber and zucchini were okay.
Report Check-InVery nice people at control point.
Only asked us to open our motorhome and asked if we had anything.
We said no, they trusted us and let us go
Funcionários muito educados. Olharam o Camper é só retiveram as laranjas.
Report Check-InWe were stopped and asked to check the refrigerator. We had pears, onions, tomatoes, garlic, dairy and built-in, but the very polite officer questioned only pears. He offered whether we wanted to consume before following, but we had eat breakfasts, so we lost.
Report Check-InSouthbound inspection only. Large northbound vehicles should follow the carga lane.
Report Check-InAsked for fruits only and we had a few banana and lemon but they said it was ok. We didn’t pay nothing, after that police was there and pulled us over to check passports and drivers license.

Report Check-Ineasy control. just asked for fruits and meat and had a quick look into our van.
Report Check-InEvery car was inspected. Each car opened the trunk for the officials to look in. We didn't see any dogs. There weren't any fees or spraying while we were there.
Report Check-InOne person had only a short look inside our motorhome. Ask if we had fruits or meat. didn't look around and in 20 seconds finished his job.
paid 25 Peso for the motorhome. exactly what the price list showed.
25 A$ (4x4 car) - very fast check of our electric coolbox, no check of our bags. The guy saw fresh mushrooms and dry sausage and didn’t say anything.
Report Check-InBarreira zoofitosanitaria e pedágio de 25 pesos. Tínhamos recém efetuado compras como frutas, verduras e frios. Retiraram apenas as laranjas. O profissional não entrou ao Motorhome, apenas olhou do lado de fora.

Report Check-InThey just asked for fruits, vegetables and meat but didn't search for them and after a short glimpse inside the car they let us pass without spray anything and without charging us anything.
Report Check-InCheckpoint is a bit further north. If coming from the south you can drive thru without having to stop
Report Check-InNo fruit, plants, meat or tomatoes. Had to put in bin. No one actually checked the van and there were no sniffer dogs there at all. We were just asked if we had any of the banned products for Patagonia. Had to show driver's passport, licence, vehicle registration document & insurance document. 70 Argentinian pesos. Only lorries got the "wash".
Report Check-InFor southbounders only. Heading north? Enjoy your fruit :)
Report Check-Inpotatoes, onions, garlic, melons, cold cuts (ham, mortadella) non red meat are OKAY // pimentos, grapes, red meat, apples, pears, oranges, uncooked ham are NOT OKAY
Report Check-InThey are mainly looking for fruit here but also beef products (chicken and pork are okay). Patagonia is a fruit fly free region. They search the vehicle with dogs and fumigate for a fee of AR$12. You can ask for a checkpoint map which lists the checkpoints in Southern Argentina and restricted food products. The 3 RN3 checkpoints south of here are meat only (not concerned with fruit). This checkpoint and the meat checkpoints listed below apply to south or westbound traffic only.
