Very beautiful and small camp ground. The river is a real small river with cold and clear water. There is almost no road noise even if the road is close by. Perfect for having a walk to the beautiful waterfall. Very nice place to stay at least two nights.
Report Check-InNothing better than camping right at the trailhead of one of the most popular hikes at the Monument. Cozy spots but tucked in against the road. Fire pits, grill and table at each site. At least 4 sites tent only. No Verizon. Toilets. Water.
Report Check-InConfirming all previous posts. Still $15, no cell service, host on site, drinking water spigots throughout. All sites were full so he let us and several others stay overnight in the "overflow" area which is the trailhead parking lot (same fee of $15).
Report Check-InClean flush toilet at entrance only. Quiet place with limited road noise and stream to cool off. Sites were clean. 14 sites not easy for larger rigs.
Report Check-InBeautiful developed campground with pit toilet, running water at the trailhead for very popular and busy hike. Friendly campers.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to stay. Of the 13 sites about 3-4 are better for tents than campers but every site could work for a drop-in camper. Water and bathrooms are available and the hike to the waterfall is amazing!
Report Check-InCampground has about 13 places. Close to highway but absolutely quiet. No cell service. Half of the places are on the other side of the small creek. 15$ per night, self registration. The hike to the fall is about 3 hours for the round trip. You can swim in the (chilly) lagoon below the fall.
