SIGNED NO CAMPING
Car park by the lake regularly used by campervans. Convenient if you want to be in town. No facilities. Free.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No camping sign at the entrance, so we normally would not stay.
But a very nice couple of argentinos we met in town invited us to park beside their kombi here.
They stayed for 3 nights and the police didn't mind.
It was a calm night.
The beach is pretty nice.
Spent two nights here in winter, quiet and free. There is a sign 'no acampar', but when you're in a van it's just 'estacionar' right😉. Police passed by several times and didn't bother us.
Report Check-InSign saying no camping, but the police went by and didnt care
so i decided to join 7 other argentinan cars/buses which are obviously camping
very windy tonight
Busy but okay and there were lots of argentinean campers. No wind, nice lake, close to town. Functional
Report Check-InA perfect spot to boondock if you want to be in town and on the beach. There were pretty clean chemical toilets with toilet paper while we were here. The La Anonima a couple blocks away also has very clean bathrooms. Fairly peaceful and quiet during the week, but weekends it was noisy until late. A very dog friendly place.
Report Check-InAlso listed on Maps.me as Bush Camp. No facilities at all, just a dirt lot amidst trees right on the lake. No tent camping allowed—there is no sign that says this but our friends were asked to take down their tent in the morning. Also was freezing and extremely windy when we were there and the trees did not provide any protection. Probably better for warm summer days if you want to be in town. A 3 block walk from grocery store La Anonima.
Report Check-InThe4Dutch. We were here on Sunday. Until late 2 o'clock noise from young people on motorbikes and cars with loud music.
Report Check-InNice place on the lake to camp. Quiet at night. No pit toilets here during our stay, but flushing toilets are available at the bus terminal (~2.5 blocks away, near the marina). Also free wifi is available in the town plazas and in the tourist information center. Free.
Report Check-InRelatively good protection from the wind. There's a constant humming sound, not verry loud though. Some chemical toilets available (maybe only for the summer?).
