We stay one night at emilio's place. Safe and quiet inside the gated facilitie. Bathroom not really clean but functional. 50BOL for a night and day. We also book a 3 day salar and lake tour with him for 1050BOL/person, we were really about it as our guide Johnny was amazing (so ask for him if you are interested). Possibility to let the van in the secured place of emilio during the tour.

We wanted to come back after our 3-days tour to the salt flats on a Saturday night (around 8pm) and nobody was there. We tried calling and sent WhatsApp but never got any response...

Our friend left this place because Emilio had an argument with his wife. He hit her and she asked for help ! Really unpleasant night for him, so he left the place.

The price is cheap :50 bol for our motorhome and our family of 5, but :
- no hot water the first day
- same price the 2nd day even if we were not here
- no water at all the last day

The place is not nice and the laundry was a mess (nothing lost, though...)

We stay in Emilio house 3 days.
Eléctric hot showers. We have dinner with them and his baby twice. Nice people.
We help us for the uyuni tour. We did it for 170 bolivianos per person. Nice tour.
The night cost 50 bolivianos. It is ok for the place.
The City is cover with earth. Better to stay in Enilio s house with another travellers

Emilio and his wife are lovely hosts. Still 50 BOL per night and vehicle. Emilio took our family (2 adults and 3 kids) on a daytour to the salar for 600 BOL (all inkl.). Taxi to and from the center of Uyuni 3-5 BOL per person (kids don‘t count).

what a family! one of the nicest encounters of a local family we've ever had. wanted to stay initially for 2 nights, ended up staying for 5 nights. simple set-up with hot shower and electricity, laundry service and super-safe. emilio organized us a nice full-day tour to the salar and fixed cars of two other overlanders. his wife leonor organized us diesel for 4 bol/L. without any hesitation we would go there again. can get busy ;-) 50 bol/night/car.

A simple set up, but a lovely family who helped us buy gas, set up a Salar de Uyuni private tour and did our laundry. Emilio is also savvy with cars, and was capable of helping several Overlanders with issues before crossing through the Lagunas route. Laundry is 30 bol per load, 50 bol/night/car

Nice family that hosts overlanders, flat parking that fits at least 6 rigs. Bathroom and Hot shower available. Not much more but authentic family that are willing to help with all the overlanders needs. No WiFi but Pet friendly.

if you aren't going to drive your own rig out on the Salar or the Laguna's route (salt bad, route tough) this is the perfect place to leave your rig. here's why: hot shower before and after. paid tour will pick you up and drop you off right here (700 per person 2 nights 3 days all lodging and food included. it would have cost me twice that for fuel and breakage). the family is really nice and that shower is great.

Emilio and his wife are very friendly and helpful
Electricity, clean and hot shower, water,
quiet and safe place.
2 days later we came back for one night and felt very welcome again

Nice stay. Clean bathroom, water and electric for 50bs per car. Emilio wasn't there but his very welcoming wife and twins were. Definitely recommend.

good and safe place with hot shower and wc. Emilio is a guide but he advised us To drive ourselves in the Salar because it was dry and he tought it was unecessary To pay an agency. very honest guy!
laundry 10bol for underwears. 30 bol for clothes.
we paid 50 bol for the night with our van.
they also rent a room with 2 beds but i dont know the price.
Emilio knows a lot in mechanic. he helped us a lot with our car.
they also sell water, coca and some cookies

Very sad as there was no water on week-end. We came here after 2 nights in the salar, just for the showers before the lipez south... They don't change the price even with this problem. 50bs. We should have stay one more night in the salar, more beautiful

Placé à 2 kms du centre . Très bon accueil de Leonor et Emilio . Avions eau , douche chaude , électricité , Wc . Endroit sûr , 50 bob / nuit . Accepte de garder le camion quand nous sommes partis en excursion 3 jours même si agence différente de Emilio ( 50 bob / 2 nuits ). Possibilité de faire sa machine à laver le linge pour 10 bob ( si on fait nous même ) . Seul bémol du séjour : quand on était sur place , Leonor nous a pris pour des baby sitter pour ses jumeaux de 4 mois .

Place faces Avenida Potosi and has a red gate that says his name. Safe and quiet. Don't leave your shoes outside your rig; dogs like to walk away with them! Tigo 4G works well.

great little spot. no wifi but no big deal. shower was hot and nice. the family is very friendly and even made Ys some delicious fried dough and hot milk for breakfast.

We did a tour with Emilio to the Sud Lipez because we didn’t want to go with our camper van.
We did a tour in 4 day. We included the ascent of the volcan Uturuncu (6000m) on the second day.
Emilio and his wife will make everything for you and our trip was just PERFECT with them. Good food, good explanation about the sur lipez and good organisation !
While we were on the tour we could leave our camper van on his secured parking so it was just perfect.
We couldn’t take showers as it was too cold and everything was frozen !
We HIGHLY recommend people who want to do a guided tour to Sud Lipez to go with him !

Hello
It's the safe place where you can stay to Uyuni.
You have electricity, water, toilets ans hot shower for 50 bols by day for one truck.
May be in few time Emilio will have a wifi.
They house is just between the town and the cementery train (15mn walking)
We have take a tour with an other agency and we let our truck here without problems.
Emilio will work on this place to make a dining room and change some things in the parking for have more place.
Big rigs are welcome.
This man is very helpfull.

A very good place to stay in Uyuni with your motorhome. Emilio and his wife are very friendly and helpful.
Emilio organized a very good tour to Hoy the Salar de Uyuni.
The facilities are simple but suffizient. Electricity is available.
We stayed four nights there.

shower is hot and you are able to plug in motorhome.

great people, simple but very nice place to stay a few days. call leo 63703282 whatsapp. or emilio. she is about to have a baby. might be off for a few days. the house is on the main street red gate "emilio" writen on blue.

We stayed for 2 days at Emilio and Leanor’s house. They arranged for 1 day tour of salt flats for 150 bol / person that was very good with great lunch. They also do laundry and we got caught up on the laundry here too. Great secure location. Flush toilet and hot shower plus potable city water when its working. Also good spot to catch up on maintenance items to vehicle.

went here in the morning to just book a salar tour
negotiated to 800 for a vehicle of max 7 persons
she said we could also camp in the property so we booked here.
didn't know the tour included the train graveyard which we had already doen and the market in which we weren't interested.
this meant we had just the tour with 2 hours of salar and lunch. after that the driver just said that's it
when wanting to leave the property the next morning the lady tried to get 50 bol pp for the camping but let it go after we denied twice

Emilio, his wife Leonor and their son Rodrigo are very friendly people indeed. His name was still not written on his door, so we offered to do it - you'll find the place more easily now.
One night (1 car, 2 people) cost 50 bolivianos. There's electricity and there's also more room than only for two cars.
Oh, and they have a cute dog that robs your shoes if you leave them outside.
we took the tour to the salar with Emilio, which was good.

Emilio Lopez and his Wife are very friendly Owner. There is Place for max . 2 Big Rigs. The Showers are clean, and very hot. Emilio was gone with us a one Day Tour in the Salar. It was a easy Trip, with a good Lunch on the Island. He He made also 3 Days in the Salar. On this Time your Car can stay by his House. It's very recommend.

Emilio hosted us very nicefully ! Big RVs can enter easily. No height limit. Closed area very peacefull and secured. Water, shower and toilets available. No internet.
Moreover Emilio organises tours to visit all the south national park and many other things around. He is very friendly and can do private tour if you want for cheap.
In addition if you need, while your RV is secured at his home and you're on a tour, his wife can do all your laundry for cheap !
His adress is avenue Potoci (sona sud) between calle 25 and calle 27. He should have writen his name on his gate. If your closed to his hoise ask for Emilio Lopez !
