free rest stop with 4 spots man made fire rings. it is big rig friendly there are garbage bins and a little walk down to the river.

Super nice spot, beautiful view of the river rapids and the massive piles of driftwood from the lower sites, 4wd recommended for those but there’s a lot of space for 2wd vehicles otherwise. Woke up to a black bear grazing right outside our “bedroom” window (class B RV). Saw a mom and two cubs way up by the road later on. Some mosquitoes but not too bad.

Amazing place. The whirlpools are mesmerizing and if you get there in time for sunset, you are in for a treat. Great opportunities for pictures.
Easy access for 2WD. Nice separated areas with man-made fire rings. No toilets but there are garbage bins.
Great spot to camp! Large spaces and fire rings provided. Little noise from the road partially due to the sound of the river. Also, unlimited firewood from the countless logs that have drifted onto this beach, and boy does the wood burn well! Be forewarned though we saw a bear when we pulled up

The rapids are amazing / awesome. The informal trail to the point is a must see. Very low traffic noise drowned out by the roar of the rapids
Great spot, private and far enough from the hwy. easy access from the hwy with a compact gravel road, Big rig friendly and relatively flat areas, bins, fire pits and a great walk along the river.

Lots of room for multiple parties on flat gravel. Nice view on the river, however, this spot is not accessible with a 2wheel drive.

Report Check-InThis Place is free, in side the road and next to river. Great Place for big rigs and tents. Nice Sunset in the river. Has Garbage and nature water. Next to Gas Station Coal RV. We stay here one night. Overnight perfect. If you need shower, 8,00 CAD in The station Gas. We pay 1,49 litre.
