We stop here overnight after arriving from the Madeline Island ferry at 1 am. Very nice and isolated ( a great stop before we continued our journey )

Beach parking at the end of a gravel road. No interdiction sign.

Report Check-In

Have discovered locals do not appreciate “free camping”. There are a number of camp grounds locals would prefer campers use as they have a very short tourist season. There are no facilities Tenting on the beach is only permitted if you are 15 m from the average high water mark and 15 m from the dunes as these dunes are a delicate ecosystem protecting against erosion There is nowhere on this beach that would permit tenting at anytime. It is a small parking lot and campers will have difficulty entering and turning around.

Belle emplacement pour passer la nuit dans le stationnement de la plage
Seul bémol, les moustiques

Beautiful spot next to the beach. Arrived at 3am from the ferry back from the Magdalen Islands. Extremely quiet all morning this time of the year.

Report Check-In

Beautiful beach with the "singing sand"
Not to many people in the evening except two other campers and even someone with a tent on the beach.
A lot of moquitos in the evening

Great place. Quite a lot of parking space. The road was easy for a 2wd. There were a few people on the beach in the afternoon and in the morning. They tend to park in the beginning, so if you park a bit further down, you won't be in the way.
At night it was very quiet, except for the waves. We had a full moon, so it wasn't very dark, but otherwise it would definitely be dark.
There's signs that there are birds nesting, so please respect nature and stick to the paths. There are a few bins, but they hadn't been emptied in a while...

absolutely beautiful spot, very quiet. could be a problem for big rigs if busy

Nice area but when there are a lot of visitors (parked car) it can be difficult for an R.V. to get through or, worst yet, turn around. We have a 24 foot C class and it was hard for us.

Exactly as described. We stayed here in a 28’ RV. Plenty of room mid-week. Close to Souris and ferry. Maybe 4 miles. Groceries and gas available there. Very nice sandy beach.

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful, quiet white sandy beach only feet away from Van.
