Someone has ruined the spot, and made a permanent residence there

Report Check-In

Someone has moved an old motor home in and ruined location. Garbage located all over site. Do not waste your time, see picture...

Report Check-In

As noted, quiet at night, water in lake not too cold. Some beer cans and a little trash, but not too bad. A lot of people crapped in the woods. Normal bugs for this time of year.

Amazing location for wild camping! But the mosquitoes are NEXT LEVEL! Have a net, or some really good repellent! Other than that, it's a five star location with a beautiful view! Would definitely recommend!

Report Check-In

perfect spot with fire rings and boat launch up the street. road nearby with truck traffic occasionally.

Report Check-In

very nice spot with 2 separatedeive in locations and fire pits. lots of firewood in the forest across the road. There is some road noise but not that bad. Highly recommend this location

This was a nice place to stop for the night. Obviously popular with the locals as several stopped for the sunset.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of rubbish left by the last ppl - I picked up a bag of garbage and had to bear proof the area - campfire was still smoking.

It looks like there are other spots on the road available for camping - if possible, ask a local!

As described. Really nice. It is right off the 533, but easy pull in and does quiet down. Light traffic. SUVs, campers and small RVs will do fine. 2 spots nicely spaced with fire pits and one of them is very level near the pit. Didn’t check out the boat ramp spot.

No services, just a few, free, cozy parking spots on a rocky shoreline next to the road with very little traffic. Large tents will have trouble finding enough flat ground. Room for a couple of campers or truck trailers but not much room for a large hitched trailer Imo. Was recently cleared of some brush and branches of larger trees. Lovely lake with many loons calling during the night. Firepits. Thanks to this group for letting me find this.

Thank you for cleaning up the trash. It is a nice spot, even being close to the road.

Found this little gem on this app and decided to check it out. Well worth the drive and absolutely gorgeous. The water is absolutely still and plenty of fish swimming around. Bears spotted nearby.

Deer flies and mosquitoes were a huge issue during the day but calmed down in the evening.

Area was obviously disrespected by the last folks who used these sites. Garbage everywhere, fire pit was full of beer cans, pop bottles, tin cans, various garbage, cigarette butts and a diaper (seriously). We filled a black garbage bag and took it with us (because respect for the environment and for others). Good as new.

Highly recommend!

Nice spot but close to the road. Was able to park a 24ft trailer. There's room for maybe one more.
Good stone fire pit. Walking paths down to the lake.
Lots of truck traffic during the day. Slows down at night.
I only stayed 1 night as I was searching for something more remote. But it's a good spot with minimum cell service.

Report Check-In

easy access even with car. can accommodate up to mid sized RV

Report Check-In

For small RV only. 2 spots with fire rings close to the lake and close also to the road. May be too close..
but it’s a small country road. A good place to spend the night.

Report Check-In

Nice enough spot. Close to the road, but fairly quiet. Can swim in the lake. A few loons around.

Report Check-In

Stayed next to the boat launch , very nice view on the lake , quiet and no bugs , very discreet , recommended , not suitable for big rigs though

Report Check-In

Ther are 2 very nice Crown Land ( wild camping ) spots each with access to the lake. They are close to the road and easy access. There is another spot a few hundred meters east which is not as nice but has a boat launch.
