Stayed Saturday night here, bar next to us played loud music till 3am and the guy on the parking charged us $3. Next day we moved down to dead end of the street, much quieter. Free. No problems at all. Bins, showers at weekends nearby, hostería conoa has a very easy to guess wifi password!! Stayed 4 nights no problem. Bit of a ghost town right now really, most camping is closed.

Tranquil spot practically on the beach. Great spot to overnight it. We felt completely safe parking there at night.. there were even police cars that came by a couple times.
We were later told that it’s not a safe area and someone had their laptop stolen from their car.

Bathrooms and showers all along the beach for .50 cents.

This place are next to the favela. We stayed one night and a man who lives in Canoa told us that this is the most dangerous point in the town. We were just one night in that place and we get lucky that nothing happen to us, but the second night was a street fight and a cup almost died and people surrounded was stolen. So if you Wana go to canoas I recomend you go in front of the main squar. There is a security cámara and a guy who take care around. The point is 50 mts from the police station.
