Great quiet spot in March, with thousands of migrating snow geese flying in at sunset. Looks like great hiking, but didn’t have time this trip to explore.
Report Check-InSuper beautiful spot, nobody around in late October. so quiet and dark. actually stayed at the equestrian campground down the road, same park just on the other side of the park. sign say $10 primitive and $20 for electric, says should come with horses but nobody is here and they shouldn't mind us staying for a quick night.
Report Check-In$15 for electric, $6 basic. Hot showers. Small playground. Beautiful lush forest in the middle of farmland. Very quiet. I was the only one here.
Report Check-In8 primitive campsites very close together — $6/night. A few campsites with water & electric available for more money.
Report Check-InGreat campground! off the beaten path...OK way out of the way! So worth it.
Went here because the free camping was flooded due to all of the rain.
Quiet and open to the clear skies
