Camping atbLa Rotunda, which is the access to Los Gigantes. Parking was 125 pesos a day and then the camping was free. Quite remote.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Car park and entrance for los gigantes park to hike or climb ! you can ask for the topo guide at the reception. good place to see condors.
New price in August 2023 parking 1100 $/car, 2350$ /adult and 1800$/kids. toilets available.
gravel road in good condition from Tanti. from Tanti the second road to access the entrance is better than the first one. it's 1 km more than the first road so go until the bus stop with write "Casas nuevas" and the panel "los gigantes" with a lot of stickers then turn left until the end.
Can’t recommend this for the price 50/car 100/pp for sleeping in the van/camper and extra 200/pp for leave the car at this place when you go for hiking. So we paid 650 2p for 1 night.
Warm Shower extra 80
Cold shower extra 40
Toilets are ok.
Report Check-InParking at the trailhead for Los Gigantes. $100 per person and $30 for parking. Camping is permitted but you will be charged again after 10 a.m. Toilets are clean and there is decent WiFi near the building and a decent signal with either Claro or Personal.
Three cats.
Report Check-InRules probably changed since previous note, here's my experience:
70 pesos/person fee
25 parking / camping (not sure if you pay extra for tent i stayed in car)
150 if you sleep in the house
All signs say it's per day but nobody cared I arrived the evening before. Electricity was available only in the evening. You can also get some food and drinks here. Vies are excelent, weather might get bit frosty...
