Parking lot for climbing Mt Mansfield.
In the winter months the parking lot is very full, in the summer months we had the place to ourselves.

No overnight parking signs. Have stayed here before but now there are signsReport Check-In
A good spot! Porto potties nearby at the trailhead and Gondola entrance. The lot got busy in the morning with construction workers parking there to work on a nearby building. The lot does have a bit of a slope, so try to park closer to the road for a flatter spot.Report Check-In
Yes! As others have said this is the best of parking lots
Quiet at night with a little creek noise in the background, half of the parking lot is out of the lights so better for sleeping and a big ports potty just outside the
Also to be 100% clear you turn into the lot across from the cabin and then take the first left which is immediate, others are no overnight parking
what a great spot. giant parking lot. close.to everything you'd want at smugglers state park. great view of the mountains. a few other campers there too.. met some nice people.Report Check-In
Honestly best parking lot I've ever stayed in. we parked here overnight for a week while we hiked around the area during the day, didn't have one problem and saw a couple other people doing the same. it's a hiker parking lot so they are used to people parking their cars here for a few nights while hiking and camping. i would suggest parking in the lot to the right as they didn't have the street lights on overnight, it's closer to the porter potty incase you gotta go in the middle of the night, and the other one on the left starts to fill up pretty quickly in the morning with people going to the gondolas. you do get a little road noise but it does down after dark.Report Check-In
Great spot for a night if you’re in the Stowe area. We’ve stayed here two summers in a row with no issues. Be sure to park in the lot closest to the road, as the lots loser you the gondola have signs saying no overnight parking. The one by the road is a massive parking lot with port-a-potties nearby. Could easily accommodate vans and rigs of all sizes. Views of Mt Mansfield are awesome at sunset!Report Check-In
As described, gravel parking lot, the one on the left was a bit wonky, one on the right was good. Multiple porta-a-toilets within 100 feet, trash can available up at the paved parking lot by the gondolas. Beautiful view of Mt. Mansfield from the spot.Report Check-In
We stayed the night in the gravel parking lot on the left. There was one other class b. The gondola next door is expensive to go up the mountain, but is free to take to the Stowe Mountain Resort down the mountain and back. The beautiful resort has many restaurants, stores and of course bathrooms. Highly recommend.Report Check-In
the two GPS locations are ok. the second one on the last post is a little parking lot just in the other side of the road. but it's just for the day because there is some no overnight signs. the first one is several parking lot of the lodge. I really don't know if it's legal to stay overnight here. but we park at the first gravel parking lot on the left and we had a great and quiet night. we were alone. nobody came to bother us. there is no amenities. and it's not very level. so I think you could try too for one night! next to a state park with a campground if you want something secure.Report Check-In
